We went twice there for dinner, because everything was so good. Don't miss the barbecued chicken and lamb. The bench seating was not great, but the great food and reasonable prices made up for it.

I visit Wakkis as often as I come I to abuja. The food is great, quick and affordable. There are two floors for sitting so there is plenty of space. The staff are friendly and responsive to needs. I often call in my order before I get there so its ready on arrival, this saves business time. The menu has... More

Had a surprise birthday song from the staff and was offered a drink on the house. I enjoyed my birthday dinner and my friends all enjoyed their meal. It's always a great experience eating at Wakkis.

At least that's what residents say, and based on my visit I couldn't disagree. The ambiance is loud and simple, with seating on wooden benches and tables. Service was adequate. The menu has a moderate variety of dishes, vegetarian and non-vegetarian. But they have real clay tandoor ovens, and everything we ordered was delicious. Recommended!

We visited wakkis and had a wonderful meal in a very friendly café-style environment. The décor is nothing special with what are essentially picnic tables. The kitchen is open so you can watch your food being prepared. The service was attentive and friendly. The food was unexpectedly good. Both our entrees were delicious although the samosas were not up to... More

When in Abuja you cannot avoid Wakkis. Good indian food and lively atmosphere. It is even relatively cheap for such an expensive city.

The food was really good. I shared with my date and we had lots to take home. The naan was amazing and I loved loved loved their fruity alcoholic drink. Can't remember the name but if you like sweet cocktails with a twist, definitely order it. The prices were reasonable for Abuja.

Very good Indian food, very reasonable prices for such an expensive city. Service is generally very good. It is clean. It is in a relatively secure area with reasonably good security, but have your driver wait for you. Patrons are a mix of mostly locals but a significant number of foreign business people. Take into account that the air conditioning... More

Capital cities never have good food, and Abuja is a like any capital city, except maybe for Wakkis. The kitchen is open for all to see, and the Naan (this is an Indian Restaurant) is as good as anywhere. Figure about $14 or Naira 2,600 for a Chicken Tikka Masala and Naira 750 for a 16 oz Heineken. I got... More
