So I ordered food and it was supposed to be chicken tandoori, it was chicken quite alright but nothing like tandoori. Would have returned it if I was visiting the restaurant.

Popular. Good menu. Good food. Nice atmosphere but the service was a little slow. I have been there a few times and always enjoy it but there are other Indian restaurants in Abuja which are as good but cheaper.

Wakkis consistently produces the tastiest Indian in Abuja. Delivers to local hotels (such as the Nordic Villa) but also has a pleasant atmosphere for dining in.

Wakkis, a well-established Abuja favorite. Mostly expats and Nigerian professionals eat here. I always feel comfortable here. Wood-bamboo heavy decor. Solid, well cooked Indian food. Fresh juices like pineapple and watermelon. The music is sometimes too loud.

I visited Wakkis early on in my move to Abuja and I am eager to go back. I had heard mixed reviews about the place but I very much enjoyed the downstairs seating. At the start of the meal not many were in the restaurant, however, by the end of a full meal the place was packed so I was... More

Very good food and nice atmosphere. Got took here by my Boss my first weekend in Abuja and he rates the food highly. Best curry I've had since Birmgham.

Wakkis serves Good Indian Food, The prices are OK , But please don't take by the heading, it has its minuses also. First the positives 1). The Tandoori food what they serve is very good, especially their Tikkas and Kebabs. 2). The biryani chicken and Mutton were good and quantity per portion is also good. 3). The Block buster is... Liked Indian food availability. But, smell of fish all around makes you uncomfortable, if you are a vegetarian. Space is very good, seating is absolutely uncomfortable.

(This is an update to my previous review) After dining at wakkis several more times, and three weeks of sampling Abuja restaurants, I can restate that they serve some of the best food in the city – period. And for Indian cuisine, the best by far. All the entrees my colleagues and I tried were delicious by international standards, and... More
