Only for the park

If you wan take your kids out and have some snacks may go there. but be sure you could be patient enough with the service. they have added more kids activities inside the park.

I stopped here at 10 am after I had visited the museum across the street. The venue was nice and another traveler told me it was nicer than the cafe in the Hotel Cardosa which also owns this restaurant. I was initially served by the head waiter who was very pleasant. Then another waiter took over. I ordered and waited... More

Dear Customer, Thanks for taking the time to tell us about your most unfortunate experience at Café Acacia. Please accept our most sincere apologies. The food at Acacia is freshly prepared, and as you discovered with the fish cakes our chef prepares each cake with freshly caught fish meat. We have utilised your feedback during team training. I hope you'll... More

Dear Customer, thanks for sharing your feedback. We're very conscious at Acacia that the Park and play area provide an excellent family destination. However, we don't wish to be merely a Park, Acacia is a popular place for people to meet for coffee, light lunches and of course the famous sun downers. As a team we're making a number of... More

This garden coffee serves nice food and snacks. There is good coffee and tea and you can lounge in the shade of a huge Acacia tree. In winter though the tree does cut off the sun rather early making it a chilly place when windy

There aren't too many places for kids in Maputo and therefore it is understandable that the cafe Acacia is a popular spot for families, especially on the weekend. We did the mistake of going there on a Sunday to have a drink and watch the sunset and we could immediately see why it was a bad idea. The view was... More

excellent view over the Maputo bay and to Catembe, friendly personnel during my visits in September 2015, rather quick, I had no complaints. The Jardim des Professores has changed during the years and it is an excellent place to bring the family, parents can relax, children can play. Small snacks

It has a fantastic view for Maputo bay, but unfortunately the service doesn´t match the beauty of the view or even the price that they charge for light meals. It took me 15 minutes for the waiter to come and collect my order and another 45 min to have a basic cup of tea and a cheese and tomato toast.

Sure, the view is ok, the park is fine and must be a plus for the families with children, but the cafe itself does not have anything special. No juices, standard choices of coffee (meaning difficult to find something if you are not an espresso lover), croissants insipid... In addition to this, advice from our local friends was to not... Food was delicious and excellent value for money. Waiter occasionally needed reminding of drink order - should use a note pad more!

Went to the cafe for brunch on lazy Saturday afternoon. The food was very good and you also have a very nice view.
