I am a vegetarian so my review will be restricted to veg food and desserts. This place has two options A la carte and buffet. I have mostly gone for buffet as I get variety (when you compare it with other restaurants) in veg food. You get Nan (Indian flat bread), Salads, Chilly (Mauritius signature chutney), Pickles, Coconut Chutney, Dal/Kidney... More

Koming here since five years we never were dissapointed, and always got very fresh fish, vegetables, served by utmost gentle personel. The price was pritty ok for Mauritius. If you are in Port-Louis, it is easy to find and worthwhile!

I have come here for a number of business lunches and the food has always been served quickly, well presented and very tasty. Will be back here for sure in the future and a place certainly to visit if you need a business lunch..

If you have limited time in Mauritius and don't want to spend a fortune at the big hotels, eating at La Bonne Marmite offers a reasonably priced alternative to the best of Mauritian cuisine. Over the years (I visit Mauritius about once every 18 months on average), this restaurant has featured tasty venison, curries of meat and fish, delicious rougaille.... More

My friends went to lunch on a week days. The welcome was very warm. Friendly staff. The settings was perfect. The buffet menu was exquis and even get dessert for Rs 511 per pax including a soft drink. Very nice and the atmosphere is very cozy for a city lunch.

Very nice indian mauritian cuisine. Caters mainly for the lunch crowd. Good to have your business lunch there. Also serves nice coffee and tea.

This is a very pleasant restaurant, clean with attentive service. The food was good, without being outstanding. I would classify it as reliable, no disappointments but average. Once agins my acid test: would I go there again? Certainly for a business or post-shopping lunch, no if I wanted anything special.

Near the Law Courts this hidden gem is worth a visit for a great value lunch at R200 or lunch buffet at R350. Clean and good service
