Briani is a necessity.....you always go back reluctantly...but it is in fact disgusting, expensive for no reason expect to rob your pocket...two smallest pieces of chicken and a dice of potato no vegetable...spicing is terribly weak..no herb seasong...portion is small...a Chinese fried rice would offer 3 times more rice per portion...rice is sticky except wenesdays on cooking day...so today I... Simply amazing view. The food I will give a 4 out of 5. Service is ok too. Staff are well groomed. The location of the restaurant is simply amazing, so peaceful and sometime you just want to close your eyes and listen to the birds...

Great food - reasonable prices and a fantastic amazing awesome view! Make sure to beat the lunch rush and get a seat right at the edge of the deck - HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting away from the expensive hotel prices :)

First of all, we can all agree that the view is absolutely amazing and that the service is friendly as well. Chamarel is a tourist restaurant and while it has some of the best scenic views on the l'il Maurice, unfortunately the quality of the food lets it down - particularly at the price! we had a great lunch at this restaurant. during the lunch we enjoyed the great view . my husband ordered wild boar and he liked it very much. I eat Mauritian style calamar salad.
