Lovely setting and great food!

Had very good food in a lovely atmosphere. I have been meaning to review this for a while now, but never go around to it. I don't actually remember what I had but my friends and I share about 6 dishes which were all very good. The setting on the first floor is really relaxing - nice to get out... read more

I enjoyed the environment and atmosphere. Food was great and service was great as well. Restaurant is located near "princess street" area which allows quick access to bars and clubs if you wish to explore Bamako's night life.

Now I know where all the rubber chickens retire. It's a chicken that was starved for 10 years and then butchered, boiled and served on a plate with some tasteless rice. Friends had a seafood pasta that looked good. But the food is way overpriced and not tasty. The resto tries to be a chic Euro-style, but needs good food... More

The Bistro is situated above the hotel and is independently managed. It is in the residential area of the Hippodrome and hidden away in a nice oasis. The service and food is really excellent and although a little pricey a really nice food experience.

Lovely atmosphere - outdoor seating. Good service, good food, good wine. Service can take a while, which is understandable since the place is usually packed.

It's not obvious to find consistent, high class restaurants in Bamako, but this is one of them. Not the cheapest by any means and I would maybe want a larger menu, but what is there is well cooked and really enjoyable. My steak was cooked according to request and held a very nice standard. I would focus on mains and... More

This restaurant is hidden away on an unpaved street in a residential area in the Hippodrome area. But when you eventually find it, you will not be disappointed. It has a typical French menu, with a good selection of food and good wines. It is upstairs in the building with a big thatched roof, which give an open atmosphere, cool... More

Quaint Hotel ( no TV...) romantic feminine style hotel with 6 rooms so difficult to book. Nice dining experience with good food a little on the expensive side but varied menu and a well sought after Sunday brunch. Added advantage of being the ONLY place in Bamako with a well stocked library of English books.

Well run, clean little place with restaurant on the covered roof deck above the hotel over looking lush garden and swimming pool. Went for dinner and had pork chops and amsh which were great with a warm freshly baked chocolated brownie with ice cream. Well worth it

Comme Chez Soi is a fantastic place. Everything is as it should be. The Eggs Benedict is perfect, they are able to accommodate special requests, the Bloody Marys and bloody perfect. Everything is served with care and everything looks and tastes exactly the way it should. This is very hard to find in Bamako.
