Nothing special

HAve been there for dinner a couple of times. Maybe went to earlyy as it was very quiet with a few heavily made up local lasses hanging around teh bar counter situated in teh middle of the restuarant. Not ny favourite place

La Terrasse is where I go when I'm not sure where else to go in BKO. It's a big open terrace that has a bit of relaxed sports bar theme (huge TV always showing soccer) but with enough food options that you can go before the party's started elsewhere, eat, drink, and then stick around for the live music that... Patio bar above VIP and new Cotton club on blabla street in hippodrome. Surprisingly not bad for mosquitoes! Offers decent priced drinks (prices between maquis and club prices) and, lately, friends made me discovered their burgers! Food is good, great prices and good quality. Serves late too. Very popular expat hangout, but also great to meet people.

In the heart of the Hippodrome, the Terrace is an institution. It is a large open space with a bar and tables. Very attractive space complete with faux Djenné architechure, hanging plants, blown-glass, and thatch on one end. Thu-Sat nights there is dancing, often with Salsa music. (Salsa is really a phenomenon here in Bamako.) The menu is nothing special... More

It's a nice open air bar with decent music and acceptable prices but in no case you can call it a restaurant !

Located on the busy Hippodrome Street. This is a busy bar with disco. Music the night I was there was mostly latin. It is a mixture of local bar with a number of resident expatriates as regulars. The place has a few 'girls' hanging around but they do not pester you if you are not interested. Typical bar food menu... More

Open Roof top bar located in Hippodrome next to Bla Bla. Thursday is Salsa night and amazing atmosphere. Favorite among local expats. I like the food especially Cote de Porc. Drinks and food very reasonable. Be aware of mosquitos.
