We were seated outside in a garden like area. The food was excellent and the waitress was very helpful in explaining the menu. Does not take Master Card.

I have been here twice now, once as a casual business dinner and once with my family on holiday. It is part of the old railway station and is different with several seating areas, including an outside area that is both covered and not covered. On both occasions my experience has been good and the food has been good. The... More

we stopped here for a late lunch, had to work hard to get service for simple food, very slow and average food. The people next to us were men with prostitutes, in our opinion; we would not return; expensive for what we had

Good place to stop for lunch whilst exploring Tana. Great menu with lots of options (burgers are very good). Very easy to walk to here from the hotels in the centre of Tana. Nice setting (from sitting at bar or nice tables overlooking the garden), but as previous reviewer mentioned, smoking is permitted, which is a turn off when eating!,

It seemed odd to go to the railway station to find a good restaurant, but that's what it was. We had sandwiches and burgers, but the coffee was the best. There's a nice outdoor area if the weather's good. The only downside is they allow smoking inside the restaurant. Not cool.

When we need to get out of the heat and hustle & bustle of Tana city centre, head for Cafe de la Gare! In the beautiful old train station and with a garden for outdoor seating, this please offers great food and wonderful location. The selection of homemade ice cream is a must!
