I had dinner there twice in October 2014 with my wife. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of the menu and the quality of their food. The prices are fair. They serve some Malagasy specialties beside international food. We had great ravioli filled with shrimps in a simply great sauce, zebu fillet with pate de foie gras, grilled meat... More

I went the first time at the Saka Manga in 1996! This year, eighteen years later, I have been doing a few business trips to Madagascar. I have tried many of the new restaurants and I have to say the Saka is still the best for me. So I went a few times this year. Great food: good flavors, cooked... More

We had dinner here on Friday night and the place was packed, so suggest that you book a table especially if there are more than two of you. We found a mix of locals and tourists dining here. The food and service were good and reasonably priced compared to typical "tourist" restaurants and hotels in Madagascar. Ice creams on the... More

I had lunch on a quite mid-week day with work colleagues. though it was quiet, the restaurant filled up quickly and was vibey. Food was good, timely and tasty. The adjoining hotel has lots of historical artefact's all over, which add to the ambience. Could do with more waiters though!

We first began by known recepies, but finaly tried the local courses and it was very good. Do not hesitate with the dessert which are surprising in Antananarivo (not expected in such a place).

Malagasy food. Yummy! Like the atmosphere and the people were friendly. We went there at lunch time and even though it was busy we did not have to wait long to get our food.

This restaurant looked and felt very upmarket for Madagascar, so we were pleasantly surprised by the prices which seemed very reasonable. The food was lovely and it was a great atmosphere. We didn't book, and were lucky to get a table - the place was packed.

Great restaurant set within the Sakamanga Hotel - it is justifiably popular so book ahead - buzzy atmosphere, generous portions, attentive but unpretentious staff, beautifully cooked French and Malagasy dishes with good options for kids too. Lovely dining room with lots of old photographs go Madagascar.
