Conakry is not a great place for good food. Le Cedre would not be remarkable anyplace other than Cky, but for Cky it is remarkable, and by other standards it is OK. It's packed with business/WaBenzi types most lunch times, being in the business/govt/diplomatic zone, and there were people standing around indoors waiting for a table. It was less than... More

20,000 Guinean Francs per cold mezze. Tabboule, fatoushe, hummus, moutebbel, fatayer and then a lot of meat stuff. Quick service and reasonable toilet. Agree that it is tricky to find -- the point on Google maps should not be trusted! If you are on the other side of the city, I've heard that "Seven Eleven" is an even better Lebanese... More

Le Cedre is where you go to have good food at good prices. The place is small so if you don't like feeling cramped, probably not your kind of place. It's hard to find this place so better to have someone who knows how to get there come along.

A group of us from the Mercy Ship walked to Le Cedre on a recommendation by a day worker. The food was excellent and the staff was personable. We'd all go back again! Fish kabob was recommended by waiter. His favorite and ours. Chicken curry was delicious. Enjoy! Our waiter, Cameron was pleasant and attentive!

Best food for the price in Conakry but air conditioning often doesn't work and service is quite slow.

When you haven't had any green vegetables in two weeks, you need a fresh, lemony, minty tabouleh really, really bad.

Well once we'd found Le Cedre we were pleasantly surprised the area is a tad "rural" and the front of the restaurant is small and unassuming. But the food was excellant, the service was very good and the price most agreeable...we will be visiting Le Cedre again it's on our must return to list...

Went there at PM7:00 but opened at PM7:10. Since the inside was a little bit of moldy I was worried about the taste of the meal. My thinking was totally wrong. I ordered my favorite, Chicken Yassa. The meat was well cooked and taste was beyond my expectation. The meal and Beer were very cheap. The cost of two bottles... More

We were in Conakry for a friend's wedding and he took us to Le Cedre twice. Great food, it seems to have a Lebanese influence, everytime we went there there were so many people. Service was great and the food was fantastic. We calculated that each plate will cost you approx. $7-8 us dollars
