This restaurant was rated very highly by my boss when she visited Accra previously. I was very fortunate that our company's local guy took me here for dinner. It is his favourite local dining spot and I have to agree that it is an excellent choice for visitors to experience while in Accra. Unfortunately my boss's recommendation (I think a... More

If you are a Nigerian or the type that love the Nigerian dishes, then Buka is the place to be. The restaurant is located at Osu. Its a very popular restaurant that can be easily located when you get to osu. Try Buka, when you visit Accra.

A little pricey but overall the food is great and the service isn't bad. This is I guess what you'd consider a 4-star restaurant.

went with the family and it was cool. They got your Regular Ghanaian dishes, fufu, jollof, banku, tilapia, fried plantain etc. The palm wine in a bottle was nice. Service is ok. You can see the effort they try to put in to make dining enjoyable for you.

I was there with my wife, my 8-year-old daughter and my father-in-law (who's from Ghana). We really enjoyed the place (on a rooftop) and the authentic African food.

We were a group of south Africans and looking forward to enjoying our layover, the food was great but our waiter was extremely rude, rolling of eyes bring our orders incorrectly and no water to wash our hands and then the waiter just disappeared we had to get up to ask for salt, another waiter serving beer at a table... I know that restaurants for tourists are usually "one-meal" places. I've tried it anyway and it was nothing special. The fish in the red-red was 100% the fishbone, no flesh on it and as for the rest, well I've had it better elsewhere.

This is a good place for Ghanaian food. They have a long menu and we ordered some tasty dishes with the help of the waiter. The service, though, was a weird combination of slow and eager that we leave so that they could go home early on a Friday night.

A group of us went out for dinner at this pleasant place. Dining is on the upstairs terrace. We had the red fish stew which was snapper cutlets deep fried then cooked in a thick, spicy tomato based sauce. Very tasty. We had it with plantains. Others tried the fried tilapia, which was a large whole fish. Also good. One... More

Food was ok, menu was quite extensive...the service was unenthusiastic at best, not too much effort on behalf of the serving staff. Might return but not excitedly.
