We went to Habesha 2000 with friends and sat near the front. After the music started, it was very loud and we couldn't hear each other talk. The food itself was quite good. We tried some traditional Ethiopian wine and watched about two hours of the show. The service was a little slow but we enjoyed our time. I would... More

We held a work dinner there - the staff ignored nearly all of our instructions/agreements and over charged our bill by around $900 for a group of 75. The staff then blamed my event coordinator for not telling every single staff member who served us of the requirements/restrictions. They then refused to talk about the overcharges claiming that we lied... More

Great food and ambience. For some reason, its decor theme is Ethiopian Airlines but if you don't let the hanging model airplane distract you, the food and service are flawless.

Was not expecting much, these touristy things are normally poor food and lame dancing. But the food especially the black lentil stew was lovely lots of vegetarian choices. The dancing was great. No idea how authentic it was but it was fun

This restaurant offers a buffet of traditional food and a stage show of enthusiatic dancing and singing. It's touristy, but fun. Be sure to try the local injera bread. Pungent and a bit of an acquired taste for foreigners, but not to be missed. The service is very friendly and the dancers were great to watch. Try to sit down... More

This place serves very good traditional food. The traditional buffet is great, because it's a great opportunity to try many different traditional dishes, and the quality is very good. They have a dancing and singing show that is very interesting and nice, but the place is very touristic and the show didn't strike me as very authentic. The main caveat... More

I loved my night here! It is very touristy but a must for anyone visiting Ethiopia. You get giant platters of injera and wot plus live dancing and music. It is really cool! You will not leave hungry.

I imagine that this could be a very nice and fun experience. However, we thought that we'd made reservations and somehow that was not the case. We ended up on a corner of the restaurant near the bathrooms. It was fine, but the wait staff seems annoyed/unattentive and borderline rude. The food was okay, but we ordered from the menu... More

Loved the song and dance sessions held here and add to that the amazing traditional food and drinks served is amazing. The dancers are very energetic and keep the crowd entertained, its more of a stage show experience than an eat-out place. Must try drink - Tej!!

This is a place really made for tourists and a lot of groups come here. The food is good, there are some dances given (not really typical but made for the show). The atmosphere is funny. You should not take this restaurant too seriously but come for the ambiance.
