Fantastic cutlural Food and Dance

I loved the cultural dances and music. They were from various parts of Ethiopia and were really performed very well. An entertaining evening with great food and an enthusiastic troupe of dancers. Well worth it. We enjoyed the traditional serving of the wat and injera and attentive service.

Should be in the top places to see. The entertainment is fantastic. Mind that you sip the taj not down it. It is strong stuff. Great music, I was even asked on stage for a dance. Recommend it

The food is only part of this cultural evening. Live performanceds (song and dance) where patrons can also participate. A fun evening!

We spent the evening here and had a great time. The food was good and they catered for vegetarians easily. The music and dancing loud and exuberant. I don't suppose for a moment that it bears a great deal of resemblance that danced in rural areas, I didn't detect any excessive sexuality and my mother would have enjoyed it. Great... More

I have been at Yod Abyssinia twice and has always been great fun. Lots of locals, which shows that it is not just a spot for tourists. The music is excellent and so is the dancing. The best is the environment with a vibrant crowded reasdy to enjoy and dance. I have had better food in Addis, but overall this... More

My first visit to Ethiopia. My taxi driver suggested dinner there, checked Trip Advisor and went. The food is really good (though I think it made me sick the next morning, but I'm not sure). The service is really, really nice and generous. And the vibe in the place (packed full) is unbelievable. Though I was alone I genuinely had... More

The food itself was very good. We had to wait over an hour & half for the food to be served. While we waited we were held hostage to the lewd dancing on stage. I kept thinking: "Surely that's the end of that trash!" Only to be served up more of the same embarrassing acts. The beautiful cultural dancing of... More

The ambience, food and decor made the visit memorable. The cultural dances were enjoyable and the service was fast and waiters proactive. Keep it up!!

An entertaining place, especially for new customers. Fresh food are good but for foreigners I recommend fried meat.
