Like the famous western brands

Branches around Addis with very good coffee , hot chocolate and cold drinks. Good menu with tasty reasonably priced food. Safe , clean havens with atmosphere.

Go to Tomoca for an authentic experiemce. This chain is just a knock off of Starbucks...the word does not need more Starbucks...

Kalidi's coffee is very expensive. The value for money concept is not there. In fact in many cafes in Addis, they have no valid reason for charging very high prices, while the service level you get and the food you take is not so unique. The waitros of the cafe ( Kalidis) are not so poliet and they are not... More

Need to drink some coffee or hot chocolate, this will be one of the best places in Addis. Whether you need tall or short cups, you get it there. The waiters will ask you if you need something to eat, which goes with what you ordered to drink. I always take Samusa. And you can find Kaldis anywhere in Addis!

Kaldi's is a great place for a cup of buna, a decent pastry while talking with friends. Unfortunately, because of their popularity they are usually quite busy which goes along with being loud and not as clean as you might expect for a place that gets so many positive reviews. I have to admit because coffee is such an important... More

Ethiopia has some of the best coffee ever and when you go to Kaldis it kind of McDonaldises the experience...It's based on Starbucks so you always know what you're getting; it's consistent. Lots of branches throughout Addis and the Kaldi's Special Tea is great, especially if you feel like you've got a cold coming on. For a real Ethiopian coffee... More

It's a copy of a very famous Western chain (not sure if I'm allowed to say the name but you definitely know it), even down to a similar font and logo. But it is still Ethiopian enough. The coffee is excellent, the range of light dishes is much more varied than most cafes in the city, and the strawberry juice... More
