Very pleasant place, in Bole, I had a work dinner there, the service was quick and the staff very helpful and friendly. The food is really good and fresh, we shared a selection of mezzes and salads, and it is very hard to pick a favourite. When in Addis I would always have Ethiopian food, but if you are in... More

Some friends and I went here for dinner and shared several vegetarian dishes (salad, falafel, labneh, etc.). Everything we had was fresh and well made, including the pita bread. The only reason I won't give five stars is that I felt it was expensive for what I've always experienced as an affordable cuisine choice. Even so, I will definitely return... More

This is a great place for a quiet meal. Located off the Bolé airport hotel, it is easy to miss but most taxi drivers know the place. Popular with locals. Kebabs, Greek salad, traditional Lebanese fare. When in Addis, this is a good place to go - and surprisingly cheap.

Right off Bole Avenue, Aladdin has an extensive selection of mezzes, kebabs and other delights. The clientele was almost all expats. The service is graceful and pleasant and the food is fresh and generously served. The noise level is low. The decor is simple but friendly. Try it next time you're in Addis.

Eaten here many times in last 18 months - good food, good service (with a smile) - what more can you ask for?

I have eaten here now on 2 occasions and both times proved to be really good. The service, the food and the prices were all great. A friendly welcome followed by very attentive staff. Good menu with plenty of choice, served quickly, well presented and very tasty. It is most definitely a place I shall return to and I would... More

We ate early on a midweek evening and initially the place was empty so we selected a table tucked away in a corner. By the time we left the place was humming. We chose a chilled wine in stock and a selection of delicious, and filling mezze. Only the ginormous chicken (?) wings were left uneaten; everything else was thoroughly... More

I am in love with Aladdin's tzaziki sauce. There's something about the fresh herbs and the chunks of cucumber that completes it. I came here about 2-3 times while I was in Addis, and was pleased everytime. We shared a bottle of wine for about 15USD! Not too shabby. The food is expensive by Ethiopian standards, but affordable for foreigners.... More

The meze was good but the meat was quite dry and there was very little atmosphere. Lovely staff though.
