Boma is very touristy but the food is excellent. It is buffet style and it is great to get to taste different things- everything was very well cooked. The entertainment is good fun. Really enjoyed the traditional dancing and the chance to try out some drumming.

To avoid disappointment make a reservation at this popular Vic Falls traditional restaurant. Get there early so as not to miss out on anything. Take part in the drumming while at your dinner table after watching a fantastic dancing show. A definite must do.

Boma restaurant seems to be the only place in town that provides a real african dining experience for the tourists. When you first arrive, they wrap an african sarong around you, then the african drummers & dancers get you to dance with them - very exhilarating! Then it's onto the face painter & into the restaurant. The restaurant is buffet... More

An enjoyable themed evening that is aimed at the tourists. It is based on the "tourist's interpretation" of Africa and not specific to the region, Eg Zulu's in Zimbabwe!! Lots of interaction and entertainment. Expect lots of noise! Food was not great, self service which is ok. Starters says Bream fish but it is Hake, spinach is really rape. Some... More

We ate like kings at the Boma-Place of Eating, and danced off our dessert! Really a fun evening with many unique foods to sample.

If you like themed restaurants, medieval banquets, lots and lots and LOTS of noise while eating, and interactive entertainment, you will love this place. Otherwise give it a miss! Yes, the food was good; freshly prepared with a lot of variety. It is basically self service, which is OK, but try to catch a waiter's eye to order a drink... More

We were greeted at the thatched hut restaurant with a little ritual face-painting and dressed with a traditional African cloth. The buffet dinner begins with a choice of a guinea fowl or crocodile appetizer, plus a traditional welcoming beer. The buffet includes many salads, grilled and roasted game, a variety of vegetables, and desserts. You have an opportunity to earn... More

It wasn't a busy evening when we went which we were pleased about because I think it would be abit chaotic. The BBQ was great, loads of salad, desserts to die for but drink the traditional beer at your peril, it's bike. You get to join in with a drumming session and you can even dance if you want yo....
