Went there for lunch had one of the best steaks I have ever tasted. We sat on the terrace over looking the bridge. Extremely pleasant staff loved it
It was like stepping back in time. You could imagine life as it would have been many years ago. Very gentlemens club feel to it. The restaurant was beautiful and a group of us had the last meal of our long holiday adventure here. Very relaxing. The staff were very attentive and the food was lovely. While we ate we... More
Sitting on the back terrace, sipping on a Zambezi beer and overlooking the bridge between Zambia and Zimbabwe with the Victoria Falls in the background is an experience not to be missed. This gorgeous old colonial hotel makes you feel like you are living a hundred years ago. Prices are high compared to local restaurants, but very low compared to... More
Had a brilliant experience at the Livingstone Room. The food was superb, service was impeccable, and the atmosphere timeless. We had a dinner there with some friends to celebrate a 50th birthday. The staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent and not too over the top. Good sized portions with fresh and tasty ingredients. Will recommend for... More
Spectacular views, georgeous setting, excellent food, and attentive service made for a special day. There are few hotels today that embrace the elegance and style of their past, but Victoria Falls Hotel does it with grace. We were there only for a lunch on the veranda, but our brief experience provided all of the insight needed to know how special... More
We booked lunch at the Victoria Falls Hotel on our last day in town, with fantastic service and views of the bridge and mist from the falls rising into the sky it certainly should be on everyone's list of things to do when visiting, we actually ate on the terrace but couldn't find a listing for that!
I recently hosted a dinner for 8 guests at The Livingstone Room, and the food was excellent, and the refurbished dining room was understated elegance. Staff were attentive and the experience was great
Sadly when we were there, only 5 other tables were being used in the large restaurant. You could certainly imagine many years ago when this was full. They have relaxed the dress code (as who brings a jacket to Victoria Falls). I arrived in a polo shirt and the host said - "We normally require a button down shirt, but... More
We had high expectation of this restaurant and were really disappointed with the meal. The staff were very attentive but frankly we expected an exceptional meal and were sadly let down. I would avoid this restaurant and eat at at the VFH Terrace or Jungle Junction where we had good food and a much better experience.
