A chic restaurant serving Tunisian food in a charming traditional house in the medina of Tunis. Excellent for business meals, either lunch or dinner. Both food and service are excellent. You'd better make a reservation before.

Arrived without a reservation, a table was found. It is a wonderful setting and the waiting staff are floating about constantly. Service was excellent, food was a delight and it was not that expensive. You are not rushed through the courses.

A beautiful restaurant with great Tunisian food. The decor is charming and the musician makes for a pleasant atmosphere. The staff have a fair grasp of English but you'll have to practise your French on the menu. You'll have to make a reservation a few days in advance (you can do this in person if you're in the medina anyway)

A total disaster due to the arrogance of the waiters. We were on a business dinner with Russian delegates. It took them 15 minutes to provide the menu and food took around 45 minutes, but the surprise comes after when we were about to finish the starter, all of a sudden two waiter came and start picking up the plates... This is an absolute gourmet restaurant serving typical Tunisian cuisine in a traditional old historic home décor with a luxurious atmosphere. When you knock the door, a waiter dressed in traditional garb and achechia cap will greet you into a beautifully restored courtyard house with colourful tiles and decorated with delicate woodcarvings, oriental carpets, antique sofas and chandeliers. We dined... More

Make sure you have reservations; it took us 3 days to get a table, even in early January. Magnificent setting with magnificent food (and you're able to get wine and beer! Woohoo!). Our waiter took us thru the menu. The fish couscous was like no other. My friend had lamb shank that rocked. Power went out halfway thru but they... More
