A gem, very popular

Nice soup and clientele. Lovely fish but unfortunately served on cold plates (my pet hate). Alcohol served. A little English spoken. Warm, thank god (the weather was bitter) and I think this was one of the few non-smoking restaurants we ate in.

It is popular for seafood and fish. Being Greek may be I have very high standards for hoe fresh seafood and fish should taste but I left pretty disappointed by this restaurant. Besides being overpriced, we experienced impolite behaviour by the waiter.

It is a small restaurant, far away being fancy but the seafood is always fresh and verywell cooked. I visited this restaurant multiple times and I will keep visiting for sure.

I've just spent a series of several weeks in several visits in Tunis. I stay in the city centre and go to this restarant almost every evening. It became "ma cantine". The food is mainly fish and sea food which is fresh every day from the market and there is also excellent beef and veal. Without exception the food was'is... More

We have spent a month in Tunisia and this was our last night so we thought this would be a fitting end. The restaurant was fully booked but, as my wife said, I blagged our way in. We had a lovely fishy meal: small red mullet and sardines to start, main course of huge pawns and garlic, strawberries to finish.... More

Starter: calamari. Mediocre. Mains: steak with pepper sauce (plain), tuna (dry). Deserts: flan (good), chocolate mousse (flat, not the right consistency nor flavour) and all topped by a very bad panna (super acid). Overall, 90 DNH (without alcohol) so I would not say this falls into the price category it shows on TripAdvisor. I would never recommend this place.

On a short visit to Tunis, my client brought me to this small, hidden restaurant. The restaurant is simple, no fancy decoration, but we're here for eating - and this you can very well! The speciality is fish and seafood, and the main attractive is the excellent quality of the ingredients. Don't expect nouvelle cuisine creations or "fusion chi-chi". You'll... More

We choose this restaurant for the distance of our hotel. Very good choice! The place is very nice and topical with yellow tablecloth. The waitress are perfect and the service is grate, not too long on waiting and precise. Food are good, a little bit expensiere in comparison with other restaurant but the service and place and food are more... More

Unprepossessing and unassuming, this is not the sort of place you find by accident, stuck, as it is, down a minor road in downtown Tunis. But it is worth making the effort to find this place, especially if it's seafood that you are after (there were some meat options on the menu, but all our fellow diners seemed to be... More

This little restaurant in the centre of Tunis is one of the best. The service was excellent, food was amazing and the proprietor was very welcoming. We ate calamari, octopus, king prawns, salads, creme caramel and drank the delicious Tunisian wine - Kurubis. I highly recommend you reserve a table as it was very busy. It was a real treat... More
