Traditional Mediterranean cuisine

The place has been kept the same since 1956. A small, cosy restaurant with good seafood. You should reserve a table before you go, since it is always full. I especially recommend clams and black ink squid for the starters. They serve good Tunisian wine as well. The service is also very good. If you... read more

I first came here many decades ago, and this very precious jewel has not changed even the slightest. It is small, intimate and very basic. Nothing modern, no frills, just very cozy. The prices are very reasonable, but the food is among the best in Tunis. The fish is perfectly cooked, with their own special sauces. The chef will prepare... More

Great food for value. Speciality in fish and seafood. I didnt like the waiter was so in a hurry to get us out and didnt let us enjoy time after dinner. I would come back just for the food, but they should be nicer with the customer

One of the best Mediterranean cuisine I have ever had, I took brik and tuna fish that was very fresh and testy however, it had been quite differently cooked so, this fact didn't tunas' taste worse. Try some dessert you will enjoy that.

I booked at this restaurant for 4 at 9pm on Friday night. Welcoming was not great and we were never informed that we had to gulp our food to allow staff to leave. Servers were very rude in their answers and had a weird look in their eyes without a smile. Food was not the best I had. We were... More

I lived and worked in Tunis for over one year, and this was always my favorite place to dine, whether for lunch or dinner. Indeed, this simple, traditional restaurant in downtown Tunis does have a lot of regular customers. The staff became like old friends that I always enjoyed seeing and I found the service to be some of the... More

When I go anywhere for a business trip and when I want to go a place which is traditional they bring me some luxury places. This time I go what I am dreaming. Place is so nice and tastes are amazing. I offer to fish in here. Everything is amazing. You must find and go here.

Located in the heart of the city in a narrow street. The location is like it was stolen from a Hollywood movie at the outside calm and quiet but when the Doors open you hear the crowd and music. Food was nice most of it seafood. Im coming back for sure.

Restaurant is indeed small. But seafood and soups are very tasty! And desserts too. However foods are quite pricey.

The food was great and the wait staff was helpful and funny. Try their strawberry with whipped cream desert, really good :)
