I've been to Kahawa a few times, which rather speaks for itself. The English breakfast is pretty tasty, the coffee's worth going back for, and the selection is good.

I was surprised by an offer I couldn't refused price wise and I asked the man in charge if it would be really a (beef) fillet which he confirmed. What they brought me was a flat peace of meet which was well done (I ordered medium) and I complained that this was not a fillet. They assured me that it... More

Service is friendly, the coffees are good. Nothing special really, just a nice place to sit in the late afternoon, sip a coffee or tea and meet friends!

As you sit on the high side of the glass looking down at shoppers silently carrying out their task, one is reminded of ants hurrying along - their hustle and bustle muted. This image of labour provides a stark contrast to the experience the voyuer is undertaking - as perched above in a soft haze of a space the food... More

This is the best cafe in Dar Es Salaam in terms of quality of coffee. I have tried all the cappucino in Dar Es Salaam and this is no. 1. Food is inventive and fresh. Ambiance is great. Only problem is that it is a supermarket cafe so lacks a nice view. This brand of cafe would do well all... More

This new cafe, strategically perched at the back of Shopper's Plaza in Masaki (on Haile Selassie Road) consistently delivers good, fresh food and pleasant service. The bathroom may be the cleanest in Dar! The place has a limited menu of sandwiches, burgers, coffee and fresh juices and smoothies combined with free wifi and good service. There is also a daily...
