Great Thai food in Dar!

This restaurant has delicious Thai dishes served in a beautiful, cute garden in the heart of the peninsula. The waiters are great at serving. The food is delicious. I recommend the soups and papaya salad. Freshly squeezed juices are yummy, too.

The service was quite poor but hey, we gpt what we came for and oh boy the food was good! I had papaya salad (the best one I ever had outside Thailand!) and Tom Kha soup which was very good as well.

limited choice on menu. Service ok, always seems quiet. Nice setting. Very expensive! Far better places to go in Dar for oriental food.

With the restaurant recently refurbished, the waiting staff welcomed us enthusiastically. However, however much they tried, the food could not live up to it. Rice noodles were very poor, chicken soup had chicken crumbles instead of chicken, extremely basic food. The only positive note was the steamed fish we ordered which was really the only dish resembling Thai food. The... More

Visited with four of my colleagues for dinner. We had a total of 8 entrees, 2 appetizers, 2 soups, 2 bottles of wine and rice and the bill came to 320,000 TZS total ($35 USD per person). All of the dishes were very good. Service was friendly and weather was perfect for outdoor eating. They also have indoor seating available.... More

Food and service more than allright. Price/quality was oké. The best thing is to ask for housemade food. let you surpise yourself

Good food, probably expensive by local standards, but very tasty - nice outdoor setting. Had the green papaya salad (yum).

Was there twice to confirm my doubts of the Thai food at oyster bay shopping center, the tom yam soup were badly prepared and the dishes lack the authentic Thai flavor.

I have been 2 times to Sala Thai both times take away. The portions are big. Also the good thing is that waiting for your food you can have an excellent Thai massage

A very good selection of Thai foods, in excellent portion sizes, well served. There's plenty for different tastes in spiciness, with very hot soups complemented by milder options. The waiting staff were attentive, and the only complaint I could have is that my wife was told that she couldn't have the hot soup 'for health reasons', which is probably outside... More
