A must go for Dar Es Salaam

I go to the Karambezi Cafe at least once in two weeks. The location and the ambiance is perfect. Perfect on full moon. Not the best place for sunset. Food is good. My favorite is T bone steak. Prices should be lower. They bring the bill before asking which is annoying. Desserts looks so nice but... read more

This restaurant is nestled along the coast in Dar-es salaam that imparts an aura of exclusivity to it. The music and the menu are certainly something one cannot leave out in deciding the choice of the... More

The restaurant also has a large and varied menu. The food is very reliable, but nothing particularly memorable or outstanding. Go for the seaside setting!

Over-priced pick-up joint masquerading as a restaurant. Clientele cannot possibly be there for the food although could not see any other reason either (Malaya mbaya na pombe joto pia). On the basis of proximity to the Indian Ocean and advise from my much travelled colleague I ordered the crab ($30) pictured – what a way to end a life… mine... More
