I stayed in the Sea Cliff Hotel two weeks in July 2015 and this Cafe provided the breakfast. While the food was OK, it was the service that was exceptional: fast, personal, kind. I also dined couple of evenings in the cafe and their selection of sea food was excellent, well prepared and reasonably priced. As I was on a... More

Well located restaurant out at the tip of the peninsula. Good atmosphere and food with reasonable prices for the type of restaurant. Certainly within the ballpark for similar type restaurants in Dar es Salaam.

The restaurant is set atop a clif, with stunning views of the indian ocean. The ambience is perfect for a sunny afternoon and their cocktails are quite a thing. Good place for a Sunday brunch. Haven't been there at night.

Food wasnt too bad but the menu is very pricey. No kids menu so my child had a calamari starter. A good sized portion. The Main meal portions are very large, which i suppose supports the high prices. Its very busy. A lot of businessmen. I suppose mostly people staying in the hotel above.

Bravo, Karambezi! This is the mark of a good restaurant management. I have been in Dar for about a year now and I did not have a good opinion of Karambezi when I visited it last year. I used to go only for the drink. But I have seen drastic improvement since the past 6-8 months. I now go at... More

Karambezi Cafe offers an stunning backdrop against the ocean and a really lovely atmosphere. I had dinner here and I would say that over all the food and service good, but not great - I think the setting makes up for it. I would still stay its a must-visit in Dar -- even if just for sunset drinks.

Perfect for a group meal / bday meal or a nice lunch. Main attraction: The view! The food isn't bad either.

I am currently in Dar on business. Since I arrived a bit earlier than the rest of the team, I had some time to visit Karambezi Cafe twice during the past weekend. A friend reffered me. My friend took me to this cafe for lunch and I'm so glad I went! We sat on the terrace and had a wonderful view of the ships going back and forth in the harbor. We even saw a ferry headed to Zanzibar. We had seafood (of course) -octopus and prawns - and were pleased with what we got. The... More
