tasty food and entertaining service

the food was good even though the chef took quite a lot of time to get to our table/grill but it was worth the wait with all the knife moves and all and it was entertaining and the food was very tasty and filling, ask the chef to perform the ketchup trick to someone that you would like to prank... read more

The sushi is very good and fresh, but the highlight here is the Korean food. The Naengmyeon is excellent and so are the cold spicy noodles. Bibimbap is good and my all time favorite is the hoedeopbap - sashimi fish served with lettuce and vegetables and spicy kimchi. The sushi and Japanese food are good, but definitely try the Korean... I had the pleasure of eating at the Osaka Restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. The Teppanyaki tables can seat up to six diners and food is cooked on the table in front of you. Each table is looked after an individual chef who puts on a show of juggling and cooking that will amaze you. The initial part... More

Finally, under the influence from a friend of mine living in Dar es Salaam, I have decided to pay a visit this restaurant. And I am not disappointed a bit! Bull's eye! What a great experience and equally great food. Not cheap, be warned! The place itself lacks charm and cosiness. It is rather geared to tackle influx of throngs... More

Restaurant is amazing. Sushi is amazing!!!! I would go there every day if I could. Its also good value for money. Also i like it when the chef gives a show. That's a lot of fun.

The food is really fresh and good, portions are generous and the service is quick and friendly. I agree with the other reviews that the decor could be re-thought to add a bit of warmth. Nonetheless this will be my go to place for good sushi.

Sitting on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Dar and just felt the urge to have sushi. What better place than to try Osaka. Firstly because it was super close to the Colloseum Hotel on Haille Sellasie Road so took me nothing short of minutes to get there. I was thrilled to know that it was open because I went past... Good food and very entertaining Tappnyaki chefs, they have a really good routine when the cook. The cooking is done in front of you and the cooks preform a show while making the meal. Differently worth a visit and another :)

Actually this restaurant is owned by a Korean and I was wondering how their Japanese food is like. But trust me, their Sushi and Sashimi are just wonderful. The waiters need to be more professional but the Korean lady was good. Their cakes are very tasty and enjoyable. I hope to go there again when I miss Japanese food.

We were looking for a japanese sashimi in Dar. We knew this is the best restaurant for that, but a bit expensive. Anyway, eating the best sashimi in East Africa is an experience for which money is not important. Octopus in vinegar sauce was something never tried before, excellent! Sashimi plate fresh and tasty, with a lot of wasabi! Wine... More
