Stayed at this hotel for several nights and ate at the Baraza restaurant every day. The food was superb - tasty, well seasoned and well presented. Varied menu with plenty of vegetarian options and a great wine selection. Attentive service and staff were well trained.

Baraza at the Southern Sun offers a good menu selection of seafood, grills, Mediterranean as well as traditional Swahili cuisine. I have eaten here a few times and am never disappointed, the Swahili seafood curry or coconut prawn curry are always exceptional. A fair wine selection is available and daily desert specials on offer.

It was really nice to eat at Baraza restaurant in Southern sun hotel... great menu, great chef, sometimes a little bit slower waiter, but you should wait a little for paying after such a great meal.

We have eaten some suahili dishes. Unforgeable! Yum
