It's a great very old traditionnal restaurant that serves you practicaly the same menu with fixed price per person ,the menu has fish & sea food as the main component along with other vegetables all cooked with 100% natural ingredients;there is always the delicious soup to start followed by plate called "tajine" that has spinach & some sea food with... We had to cross the whole of the medina in a rainstorm to find this restaurant and we were so glad we did. This is a place the locals go to. It was the best meal we had during our trip in Morocco. I have celiac disease and when I told them the very cheerful waiter (part owner?) spent the... More

Started out with a huge hug from the owner (I guess) and immediately gave my husband some spice for his liver... We were both entertained, and well fed. Small unassuming restaurant, but the food was so flavorful. I am not a 'fish lover' but I loved THEIR fish. Great time. Great experience. Unique!!

Le Saveur du Poisson is an unique restaurant with a cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious, very healthy and colourful; it was a joy for my eyes and belly! The owner was a very gentle sir, allways concerned about what we need. I've tried something new: Grilled Shark, wich was really delicious by the way!! If you visit Tanger, you... More

Great food and atmosphere but not for picky eaters. You get the food that is served. We had delicious squid and fish with superb seasoning. Locals eat here.

Simple, rustic and delicious! Don't let the simple appearance of this place fool you. Located near one of the Medina entrances nearest the El Minzah Hotel, this restaurant serves the freshest seafood available in the market that day. Staff is warm and friendly. Everything is roasted or cooked over an open flame in the small kitchen at the front of... More

The Escalier in the address really does mean that it's located on the side of a staircase. A long, uneven, and treacherous staircase. However, the meal was worth carrying our double stroller down, and then waiting with our 4 young children on a single step for 30 minutes. The owner and waiters were very nice, and service was quick. The... More

I'm Moroccan and know what's good and bad food from my country. I was invited to this restaurant. I think it's the biggest rip-off I've ever seen. Bad food, bad behavior from the guy who tries to intimidate his clients, and very expensive. If you really want to eat local, tasty food in Tangier for a quarter of the price,... More

I recently had dinner in a restaurant I'd heard about and read about in the NY Times travel section. Everyone had raved about the regional cooking. I was looking forward to the tastes and flavors from the north of Morocco on a lovely October evening in Tangier. At the end of the meal, I can simply say, "This is a... More

A very interesting Moroccan restaurant close to Medina district in Tangier. We visited upon recommendation from the hotel owner. We were not sure we were at the right place as the entrance looked like a mediocre restaurant. So is the ambiance inside. Fix lunch menu for 10 Euros. This includes baked almonds and nuts served with spices, an excellent fish... More
