The restaurant has a fixed menu system. They serve only one type of food. The food is excellent, good taste and the service is good too. However it is way overpriced. I had a feeling that we paid way over what the locals pay. Before you sit down, check the price with them! We paid 200 dirham per person! For... More

We had no idea what to expect when entering this small "hole in the wall" restaurant. We were most surprised when we were served home made fruit juice, freshly toasted almonds, olives, bread, harissa and a fish soup as soon as we sat down. We were given wooden spoons to eat the soup. This was followed by a delicious fish... More

Very small and rustic place. Fix menu, simple, savory and little spicy. Fish soup, olives, spicy sauce, dried fruits and bread. Then fish tajine, grilled fish. Tasty fresh fruit and handmade juice to drink. We left a small tip and the old owner was so happy that he gave us some kitchen cutlery and cups just washed as gifts...so funny!

This is one of my best experience in Morocco. It's a tiny restaurant where you need to wait in line for more than an hour to get a free table. My advise for every one is to fast a day after in order to be able o eat all the food that Mr Mohamed the very gentle man servs you.... More

Ok, there's no choice, you get what you get and it's not the cheapest (nor the most expensive) and you may have to wait for a table. But we got tasty fish soup, spicy fish tagine, lovely grilled John Dory and kebabs, olives, bread, Harissa, dessert, constant top ups of our fresh juice. The service was fine and the owner,... More

Also known as the "Popular Restaurant" whose real name remains a mystery. It's simple, it's not the best restaurant in Tangier, Rabat is the capital, it happened to me to travel 350 kilometers to come and dine. The menu is fixed, the portions are calculated according to the number of people at the table (one person, small grilled fish, 6... More

A unique restaurant, small, with large communal tables, so get ready to meet your neighbors. No menu, just lots of fresh seafood dishes that keep appearing. There were three or four courses (I can't remember). I am not a seafood lover, but I enjoyed the food here. It was simple, but very good. The service is loud, brash and comical.... More

I'm still salivating. This delightful old world experience is a must and a great value. As many have reviewed... a total experience that simply stimulates all your senses. Casual and great fun as well. Be prepared for a possible wait in line. Trust me, it's worth it.

Let me just say that on the positive side the food was fresh. Apart from that there is little to commend them on. The food is certainly invented as has no relation to Morocco whatsoever. For €20.00, expensive by Tangier prices, you do not get to choose anything. Instead, you are given breakfast bread, a plate of spicy Harissa, some... More

Food, service, and atmosphere were all fabulous. The food did not stop coming so be sure to arrive hungry. Bring cash. Food is wonderful but not cheap. I'm going back tomorrow.
