We came here for drinks and dinner and enjoyed our evening. It was fun to chat with the staff and listen to the berber music while eating lamb tagine with prunes and nuts and chicken pastilla topped off with a local flag beer.

We were recommended this place by our hostel as the food was very nice and very fresh. When we arrived it was half full, and all of the customers were tourists like us who had obviously followed their hostel/hotel guidance. The music was fun, and the lamb tajine was ok, but the cous cous was flavourless and not very nice.... More

I wanted to do the touristy thing one night and hear Moroccan live music and sit on a comfortable couch and eat kebabs and couscous, and this is exactly what I did at Hammadi. The service wasn't gracious, but neither was it horrible. The food was not inventive or exceptional but it was fine. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and... More

We arrived there during lunch hour with our tour group and they were ready for us. We were all seated in one area and they offered us drinks. (Beer, Cold Drinks and Water) The soup was delicious. Very authentic and tasty. We were served with bread so that we could dip the bread into the soup. Shish Kabab was served... More

Enjoyed local musicians playing during our Moroccan lunch. The food was delicious and the service was very good. We came with a tour group, and it appears that is the easiest way to go since it was all pre-arranged. If we were to go again, we would try one that was frequented by locals to get a different experience.

OK, that was in Casablanca and this is Tangiers, but the setting was right out of a movie. Our two teens and we had a very enjoyable dinner of traditional Moroccan fare while a small band of musicians played on. Many courses, some really great, some good, some so-so. Not sure if this was because of restaurant quality or personal... More

Came here for lunch on one of our days in Tangier. The service was quick. Had the vegetable cous-cous which was ok but pretty salty. The best thing about the restaurant is the decor and the musicians, however it is definitely geared towards the tourists and didn't feel particularly authentic. Still, an ok place to eat and at reasonable prices.

We ate here with a group (perhaps it might be better for individuals). The food was quite simply terrible and absolutely not authentic. Lukewarm, oily soup which the waiter handed out with his finger in the bowl, and slops all down the sides of the bowl. Cold couscous with a few very overcooked vegetables and an unrecognisable lump of fat... More

Decor was authentic with musicians playing that added to the atmosphere. Food was an ok introduction to Moroccan food, though not the best we had. Ordered lamb, but got chicken! Probably a safe bet if you are worried about the food in Morocco.

Having been recommended this restaurant by my hotel, I had high hopes for good, authentic food at reasonable prices. However when I arrived things went downhill. The menu looked comprehensive enough, and I ordered the morrocan salad to start having had it before at a street cafe. This was a poor version of the fresh salad I had previously. The... More
