Good food, but with so much character and friendly service

We went one night and enjoyed it so much, we went back two nights later. The food was very good, but the ambiance, decor and especially the staff made it memorable.

Good and plain international cuisine. But the space is rather small, although the restaurant can accommodate some 40 people downstairs.

Rabat is one of the pricier cities in Morocco and this must be one of the pricier restaurants but for a special occasion it's a great choice. Oysters, French wine, duck and beef are all on offer in a very classy atmosphere. I experienced very attentive service and a calm ambiance but I have heard others tell different stories on... More

I have been here a lot of times. It's a bit chaotic - it's quite often rented for different private parties and you never really know what's up. There are art openings, salsa nights, soccer evenings, jazz concerts or maybe just closed for renovation. The service is also feels a bit random, but I still keep coming back. The food... More

Well located in the center in front of Maroc Telecom. The place is typical of the 30s and the food is like in a french brasserie. On the first floor they have a cosy place for a drink and some snacks. Nice staff. Little pricey for Rabat.

From Hong Kong as well as from Bangkok, I regularly go back to Rabat, in Morocco, my second home. When I do, I don't miss the occasion to go to 'Le Grand Comptoir', one of my favorite bar restaurants in town. There, you can always be sure to have a good time, shared with nice people, enjoying excellent food at... More

This place is an absolute must for any visitor!! The quality of food and wine is extremely high, along with the service. The food is well cooked and good value for money. There is live music on most evenings. The manager, Thierry, is a wonderful host who always does his best to ensure the customers are satisfied. Special mention also... More

This place is great for lunch or dinner- a bit pricey, but the service is great and the food is often unusual and very good. Not the usual for Morocco- I've never had a bad meal (and the bread is great) and they serve alcohol.

If you are looking for French cuisine after many Moroccan dishes, you will get some. Menu varied. I went there several times. Some evenings were more enjoyable than some others. But, we dine fine not excellent, but fine. Food as expected. Service was polite and unequal depending on event.
