Good prices

Good prices and nice quality. The staff is a bit slow you have to get their attention so you can ask for whatever you want, but overall the atmosphere is nice

Affordable meals, with slow service u have to get the attention of waiter if not u going to wait forever..... Staff aren't friendly intact you may need to pay them to smile. Nice location cozy restaurant only if you are seated downstairs. We had to change seats to downstairs next to the entrance to get served..... Good food portion and... More

This place serves up your basic Moroccan food (tagines and soup) at very reasonable prices. Don't expect any frills or gourmet food however, but good value for money. It is more of a cafe/restaurant versus a classy restaurant. Mostly locals.

So, this place was a reliable option when the other places we wanted to go in the area were full. The food is good, and the prices are low. The waiter was pretty surly, I thought. The big problem here is the mosquitos that hang around the fountain in the courtyard and the bees that constantly pester the folks who... More

On the southern edge of the old medina (on Avenue Hassam II, between Avenue Mohammed V and Sidi Benaissa) this local no frills restaurant serves basic Moroccan fare cheaply and quickly. Over two nights we sampled two tagines, a herb omelette and the local soup speciality, soupe Marocaine. Tasty, and budget priced.

We went there because it was near our riad and did had time to go somewhere else. I think is just a turist restaurat and wouldn't recommend it. Don't buy the shrimps or the kefta tanjine.

Popped in here for lunch after a morning of walking and trending around the old fort of Chella and walking back into town. Another place recommended by our Riad owner - and again another good one! We settled in the courtyard for some local grills - I chose the lamb chops and the wife the chicken skewers... have to say... More

Our Riad suggested this place along with a couple of others. We ended up eating here the second night. This was our fourth meal in Rabat, and Morocco for that matter so we had three meals to compare this place to. The food was not edible. I had eaten a chicken tagine for lunch so I wanted couscous. We were... More

You'll find the standards here: tajines with chicken and vegetables, meat and vegetables, just vegetables, kefta and eggs, and chicken and lemon. They are not done particularly well, the service isn't particularly friendly, and the space isn't especially inviting. Better off at Dar Naji, or any number of smaller, more humble places on Moulay Abdallah, Mohammed V, or the cross... More

The food was decent and not too expensive. We sat inside to avoid some of the days heat and watched as the waiters kept getting empty plastic water bottles and refilling them from the tap - presumably to go outside and bring them to tourists too stupid to know any better. This kind of theft and deceit happens all over... More
