You'll find the standards here: tajines with chicken and vegetables, meat and vegetables, just vegetables, kefta and eggs, and chicken and lemon. They are not done particularly well, the service isn't particularly friendly, and the space isn't especially inviting. Better off at Dar Naji, or any number of smaller, more humble places on Moulay Abdallah, Mohammed V, or the cross... More

The food was decent and not too expensive. We sat inside to avoid some of the days heat and watched as the waiters kept getting empty plastic water bottles and refilling them from the tap - presumably to go outside and bring them to tourists too stupid to know any better. This kind of theft and deceit happens all over... More

The restaurant was one of the two recommended by our Riad's hostess. Once you get there, it is very easy to find with its neon lit sign. Prices for the food very reasonable - so that part was really good. But the Tajine's that we ordered were really cold. We had to send back one of the dish for reheating.... More

Sunday evening in Rabat is not easy for dining. But our Riad sent us here because it was close and safe. The service was some of the best we have had in a long time. The food very average. He ordered a viande and vege tagine in which it was hard to distinguish was the meat was. It was definitely... More

Very close to one of the main exits so easy to find when you're not acclimitised to the narrow streets and mayhem. the tajine was lovely and the prices very reasonable

The food was good, but the ambience was average. If you are looking for somewhere centric to eat near the market, this is one place to go.

Eating at El Bahia in Rabat is a treat for locals and travelers alike. Situated on the edge of the old medina, El Bahia offers coffee and tea at the ground level and traditional Moroccan cuisine upstairs. This is a terrific restaurant, not pricey, with great food.

We ate here three times after a local told us this was a nice place. It's cheap, fast and good food, right in the wall next to the Medina. The avocado shakes are delicious!
