Tired of Moroccan food? This wildly popular French crepe and sandwich place will fit the bill. You may have to wait a long time for a table but it's worth it. It's nothing fancy but it will satisfy your cravings.

Your rating scale has no room for "Good", it has "Average" and "Very Good", nothing in between. My evaluation is rather above average, but not yet very good. Ty Potes is one of the few places in Rabat where one can appreciate some particular deli products in a public place, without having second thoughts. It has a small inner court... More

Stopped to pick up take-away sandwiches for our bus trip to Chefchaoune. Mistake was that we were late and thus arrived middle of rush hour lunchtime so it took far longer than anticipated. However, the food was excellent although we had not thought about 'tools' for those who ordered salads or pancakes instead of sandwiches which was a bit messy!... More

I went to Ty Potes on recommendation from an expatriate who has been living in Morocco for 2+ years. What I didn't realize was that this was an establishment opened by French expatriates, mainly for expatriates. Although I appreciated the safety and quiet of the restaurant, having been harassed in the street during most of my trip thus far as... More

Would love to take Ty Potes around in my pocket to wherever I go! Excellent food; always very busy, but the servers try their hardest to be quick and efficient. My group loved all the food we had there and we went back multiple times. Our go-to place! A whole different world - It is Paris in there~ and when... More

The restaurant is charming. Just have a look at the garden. It is an interesting place for drinking a glass of wine and having a joyful conversation with friends. Don’t expect too much of the food, it’s ok. Waiters are smiling and polite. You can buy some excellent italian products at the grocery store. Don't forget the spices ! And... More

The restaurant is really cute and very hospitable. The staff are friendly and attentive. The menu looks great but the food is very underwhelming to overcooked. A tasteless chunk of overcooked salmon and mushy green beans - so disappointing. Visit - by all means, visit - but stick with the Galettes and avoid the "cheese platter".

Ty Potes is the right place for brunches on Sundays. The garden side is appropriate for the summer, the food is very good and tasteful. The service is perfect. the waiters always smiling. Besides the brunch, there is a small grocery store where you can buy very good ham, cheese, spices, some italian products and very very good moroccan tea.

This small restaurant in center city Rabat can feel very cozy, though when really full it can be a bit noisy. The garden is lovely seating in warm weather. The food is very good for a lunch or light dinner, French with many both savory and sweet crepes and a variety of other interesting dishes. A friend and I shared... More

This is our second lunch at Ty Potes. The first time, we were impressed (very nice oysters). This time, we realized that our first impression was the result of our disastrous experience with other below-average restaurants. In the garden (zen like littleness), it was chilly. Yes, it can happen in Rabat! So we reinstalled ourselves in the restaurant. Table is... More
