A French touch in Rabat

+ Very nice design + English speaking staff + wide range of food and drinks - Small garden - Opening hours Tips: 1. Try the French salted pancake (crêpes bretonnes). 2. The Caesar salad is the best in town

A French restaurant/deli in the center of Rabat. Delicious food (including many items not typically available at restaurants in Morocco) and a nice, laid-back atmosphere. Make sure to book ahead for dinner -- it can fill up -- and try to get a spot in the beautiful garden!

I ate twice here during a recent stay in Rabat. The first time, I was thrilled to find this place on arrival after a long trip - it was open for lunch when most places were understandably closed during Ramadan. Several specials plus a regular menu with a variety of salads and crèpes. Seating inside and out (we sat at... More

Definitely worth a visit, we will be going back again and again. The galettes are just as good as they are in their home county in Brittany. A real true French classic here lads.

Small cozy French restaurant-deli across the street from l'Institut Francais. We had excellent fondue, fresh oysters and housewine that was not overpriced like alcohol in most places in Rabat. Most visitors were French too. Non-smoking inside, which is also not common in Rabat. Make sure to book ahead, it fills up quickly. I would definitely come back.

Very much enjoyed Ty Potes on a cold rainy November evening. The food was good - selection of mainly galettes and crêpes - and must be the only place in Rabat you can drink some cider... The service was very good and helped us to move inside after we were rained on despite a busy night in the restaurant. We'll... More

Tired of Moroccan food? This wildly popular French crepe and sandwich place will fit the bill. You may have to wait a long time for a table but it's worth it. It's nothing fancy but it will satisfy your cravings.

Your rating scale has no room for "Good", it has "Average" and "Very Good", nothing in between. My evaluation is rather above average, but not yet very good. Ty Potes is one of the few places in Rabat where one can appreciate some particular deli products in a public place, without having second thoughts. It has a small inner court... More

Stopped to pick up take-away sandwiches for our bus trip to Chefchaoune. Mistake was that we were late and thus arrived middle of rush hour lunchtime so it took far longer than anticipated. However, the food was excellent although we had not thought about 'tools' for those who ordered salads or pancakes instead of sandwiches which was a bit messy!... More
