This was my 3rd visit to Al Marsa. My two earlier visits left very good taste so naturally I was very happy that my host offered it as our place for dinner. We were a party of six and we decided to share our first courses by ordering Tapas, and after that each will have his own main course. The... More

The Al Marsa is shown as an Italian style, situated in The Marina du Bouregreg Sale ( Port) . Its almost opposite The Golden Tulip Hotel, but across the river. My Colleague and I both chose an excellent fish starter and main course, which was excellent. Visiting in November meant the restraint was quiet but I would certainly recommend a... More

I have now requested al Marsa for several large (10-15 person) business dinners and the food is always extremely fresh and well prepared. Relative to many restaurants in Rabat, service is prompt and attentive. Finally, the setting on the water looking over into Rabat-proper is unique. I would recommend for couples or business dinners. On cool nights in Rabat the... More

Just spent a lovely evening at Al Marsa which has a great view of the Hassan Tower and fashionable port. The fish was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked, simple and tasty. This was our first night out in Rabat and a high standard has been set.

It was my first time visiting Morocco, and my first time experiencing the food in Rabat. HP invited the entire team to a team dinner in the Al Marsa Italian Restaurant and I was impressed with the Ambience, the quality of food, the dinner set-up and the view of the river. I was particularly impressed with the music... there was... More

In an especially nice and upcoming part of Salé (read: secure) you will find an exceptional restaurant. The prices reflect the surroundings, but the security, cleanliness and service more than make up for it. I always recommend ordering the fresh fish here - we ordered the Pajot (red snapper) but have also had good luck with the Turbot. Unique view... More

We were in Morocco for a conference. The concierge recommended Al Marsa for dinner. About 12 of us went with a 7:30 reservation. Other than our party, there was no one else dining (a few people came in before we left at 10:30). The waitstaff was very helpful. When they couldn't understand our English, they would get someone to come... More

I had a quick business lunch. The main speciality is clearly everything to do with fish, BUT they also have some beef, chicken etc on the second part of the menu. Service is a little chaotic, but all in all nice and fast enough. A little challenge to find the spot by car (new constructions, new bridge, etc) but once... More
