This is my go to place whenever I have a party of 4 or more. The ambiance is nothing too special but I like going to the back where there is a salon and you can sit as a group. the food is always amazing and I highly recommend the Kabsa with meat, the Kebbe and shai (tea). Their pastries... More

Place is very simple, but also very cosy. It is very busy and lively, lots of people traffic (customers and staff). There is quiet Syrian music in the background. Food is absolutely delicious, to such an extent that even the water tastes better :) The only thing on the negative side i can mention is they don't have a queue... More

I feel at home in this restaurant because it presents our own dishes(kebbe,hommus,babaghanoj...etc.services are good and people are kind. The resturant reflects the common dishes shared in Syria,Jordan,Palestine and Lebanon. The prices are reasonable and the food is very delicious.Enjoy eating there.

At a walking distance from the medina, this Syrian specialities restaurant makes a change from regular Moroccan cuisine. At lunch, at about 2pm on a Saturday, it was full with locals. Not a tourist apart from us. The place is quite dark once inside. Unlike some of the other reviews I have read, the service was not that bad considering... More

My friends and I dined on the Syrian lentil soup and a mezze consisting of grape leaves, tabouli, hummus, and babaganoush. Another friend ordered shawarma. Everyone enjoyed the tasty food, friendly service, and cosmopolitan atmosphere. It was reasonably priced and clean with comfortable seating.

It is definitly a delicious restaurant. Unfortunatly the service is very very very slow... You don't have to be in a hurry. Waiters will serve some of your table but some of you must wait. But i will definately go again, it's a very good food and a nice atmosphere.

We have been there 2 times in 3 days! The food is really good and really cheap, there is a lot of different kind of food and they are all excellent. The service is not great, we have been waiting really long time, and we had always to ask the waitress many time for attention. That's a shame because everything... More

After reading all these nice reviews we decided to try this place because we had tajune fatigue. All the disheshat we ordered were excellent. Salads were fresh and atmosphere very nice. And the deserts were delicious! We paid 250 mad for 3 persons for 3 meal course! Highly reccomended

I live in Rabat and have been to Yamal Asham a few times. It has great Middle Eastern food at a completely reasonable price. My only complaint is that they allow smoking inside so sometimes it can be a little tough to breathe, other than that it is great. I keep going back and enjoying myself every time.

Best falafel I've had so far (and I've tried quite a few.) I tell people about this restaurant when I'm home in the US - it's a must-do every time I'm in Rabat. Open later than most restaurants in town. Service can be hit-or-miss, but the food has been consistently delicious, from Falafel to kebab to fattoush.
