Good food in a good atmosphere

We had dinner at the Bistro two times and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the service. The cuisine is French rather than Arabic. I recommend the Moroccan wine and beer (Casablanca). On Fridays and Saturdays there are jazz shows so the restaurant is very full and noisy but... read more

We went for dinner at Le Bistro on a Monday evening. It was surprisingly busy . We had a drink at the bar first, I asked for a kir royal but it came sans fizz and not very cold. We were seated soon after asking for a table for 7 which they arranged even though we didn't have a reservation.... More

We went to experience western music in a reputable Moroccan restaurant. We got good food and good service. The wine selection is good and the fish soup was very good. The music was supposed to start at 900 pm. The band (golden key) was tuning the microphones and their instruments from 830 pm to 925 pm. They started playing at... More

Tired of tajine, couscous, and pastilla? The Bistro at the Hotel Pietri is the answer to your quest for good, fresh food. We visited for lunch today (my third time at the Bistro) and as we were not pressed for time, we skipped the "Express" lunch and ordered a la carte. The tapas appetizer was delicious and certainly enough for... More

This is a restaurant within the Le Pietri Hotel. The room is nicely decorated with a water feature and plants and a corner where apparently a jazz band plays occasionally I wandered past a couple of waiters who could not be bothered to show me to a table When I sat down at a particular table a very excited waiter... The set menu at lunch time is excellent. Good value, good quality, well presented and the service is fine also all for around 90 MAD. We used to eat at La Varanda at the French Institute until we received poor service and quality. So this is a favorite spot for our business lunches.

With subtle lighting, an interesting water feature mid-room, striking contemporary art on the walls, this little gem made me feel good the minute I arrived, but things went uphill very fast indeed with the arrival of the "salade minute" that introduced the menu du jour. A beautifully prepared and plated mixture of aubergine, courgette, sautéed onion, cilantro and baby green beans,... More

Excellent French & Moroccan food - best in Rabat! Good bar and drink selection. Live music every night except Sunday. My husband enjoyed many evenings eating there and listening to great musicians.

Tour guide directed us to restaurant choices in a square near our Le Diwan Rabat hotel. This was outstanding; seafood gratin, excellent calamari, and salads. Service was very good. No alcohol as I recall.
