A wide variety of tajines. Very good taste. You can choose salt or sweet tagines and green tea is a must also. Charming atmosphere with live ambient music. Expensive alcohol drinks. We really enjoyed the meal and we would repeat.

Tanjine wa Tanjia is one of our favorite restaurants in Rabat. It's easy, unpretentious and appropriate for just about any visit. We always take guests from out of town here and have never had a bad time. The food is always fantastic (especially the camel tanjia), the atmosphere is pretty good (quiet oud/guitar on weekends) and the price is not too... We went with a friend for lunch and had couscous, the speciality for Friday. It was delicious, large portion and with nice salads as starters. Price was affordable about 100 dhs per person.

Excellent food, great service and affordable prices. Ate there over 6 times and never was disappointed. Opens at 7 pm for the evening service, better to reserve.

This small, cozy, difficult to find, restaurant provides a good introduction to Morroccan food. Everything was pleasant and good enough. Live musician added to the ambiance without being intrusive.

Enjoyed our meal at this lovely little restaurant. Service was excellent and food was very good. Best mint tea we had in our two week stay of Morocco. The restaurant is near the train station. You'll first see a long line of restaurants in a sunken area behind the train station and you have to go around the corner to... More

I ordered the beef tanjia which came bubbling hot and extremely tasty. It was really really great and exactly the portion size, not too small not too big. 115 dh is not exactly cheap though, but wad worth it. It was perfectly spiced. The service was attentive and very friendly, both by the waiter and the manager. For a dessert... More

OK, assume you are a tourist in Rabat, and you have just a few possibilities to taste local cuisine - then this might be a good idea. Yes, the number of locals is rather low - which may have to do with the fact that it's one of the few Moroccan restaurants (not located within a hotel) which also serves... More

When you enter a resturant and just see tourists, this should already give you the clue that you should better do a u turn and look for another restaurant. We took 2 different meal: The tajine kefta with eggs, it taste and look like (and i m not exagerating) food coming directly out of a tin can, the worst tasteless... More
