Tasty Moroccan cuisine with friendly service

Food was tasty, portions were fair, price was decent, service was friendly, hard to not like this place. Only downside was dessert. Didnt have many options and the one i chose (cant remember what it was called), came in a prepackaged container like something you'd buy at the supernarket. Not overly... read more

Food was very nice, I had tea and ta naji , it was some misunderstanding in the begining, because only one waiter speaks english, we waited long time for the main dish, but the service and food was nice

I had a lovely meal and treats each time I was there (went twice by mistake when in Rabat--it is apparently the place to take people in Rabat). The first time I went we had so many veggi tangines in Morocco we really wanted something different, so the waiter said they would make two vegetarian plates for us...it was amazing!... More

This is my go-to place in Rabat, I have visited the place around 4 times now and the food has been excellent every time. The atmosphere is wonderfull, the staff is attentive but not pushy at all. The menu is rather traditional but the execution of the dishes is near perfect, and very reasonably priced. I absolutely recommend this place

Suggestd by the hotel and by a collegue at office, i was surprised that both were recommending the same place. Nice furniture, warm and typical, makes you really feel in a special place. Food is amazing: odours pervade the whole place and the typical food makes u enjoy the Moroccoan traditions. I recommend it. Be careful with the location, use... More

Very beatiful interior and staff welcoming visitors at the entrance. Nice view on the square. Traditional moroccan cuisine of average quality, my tajine was OK, my friend's brochette was great. They did not have a lot of things on the menu. Don't serve alcohol. Open planning so dress warmly during winter.

i Have eaten in this restaurant in Rabat which is in the city centre by Bab El Had, where it's located nearby a hammam, with a complicated direction, if you are driving a car to this place watch out and make sure to park somewhere far and walk for it, but my advice to you is don't try and try... the Dar Naji is a well-known restaurant and the magic still present after all this years. the service is very hospitable, waiters have a natural smile and care about their customers, we loved the way they are serving the tea -moroccan style- with such dexterity! of course, you better have to choose when you are going there, as it can... Whilst in Rabat for a couple of days, we were stuck as where to eat - so after reviewing what we had in our tour guide books we decided to ask our Riad owner where he would eat! Lo & behold he mentioned this place, which was a 10min walk from our Riad and I have to admit, was jointly... More
