we went to this restaurant recommended by the host of our Riad. It was indeed a nice traditional restaurant with a good selection of local dishes. We went with two chicken tangines. The dishes arrived quickly which were were happy with since we were with small children. The quality of the dishes varied. We had the impression the chicken had... More

Having tried (tourists) restaurants in other cities (e.g. Marrakech) I have to admit this was true to what I'd consider Moroccan cuisine, not just for the food that is served (which was lovely) but for the atmosphere too. It was also full of locals, a plus point as it's not a tourist place or not necessarily. I went there following... More

We have spent our evening earing in this restaurant. We have ate typical marrocain food (tajine kafta) and meat. The food was excellent and the price super! Very cheap highly recommendate!

We arrived at the restaurant at 8 pm and was glad to find it busy and traditional. Food was good and reasonably priced, but only serves 'non-alcoholic' drinks! As we left the evening was just starting for the locals with dancing in the square we were overlooking, quite a spectacle!

Only about 2 of 5 dishes from each type was available. Either only yesterday, only Thursdays or "sorry, this is out already". Food was cold :-(

After a month stay in Rabat, this place was one of my favorites. I definitely left completely full. The restaurant is beautiful and traditional. I like that there was someone to pour water for us to wash hands on the way in... a very nice touch... and everything is surprisingly affordable given the beautiful atmosphere. Nice second floor view of... More

My girlfriend and I chosen this restaurant based on its reputation here as well being recommended by the owner of our riad, the reputation was justified. Their menu design was quirky and we had a great table next to the window, the food was really good, I had fish tagine and my girlfriend had lemon chicken tagine. The service was... More

This is the place where you can find the traditional meal called Trid or rfissa in some regions, that is almost similar to Couscous but not yet famous. The decor is very touristic but the food is absolutely delicious.

We had a very nice experience in Dar Naji. Food was good and service was nice. But above all, we mostly appreciated the captivating atmosphere. We recommend Dar Naji for all travellers spending time in Rabat. This place was suggested by a local.
