A little bit far away, from centre to Matsuri by taxi is about 20Dh. The restaurant is located Ina hidden place, the driver cannot find it, but also achieves its quiet and peaceful environment.Sashimi tastes nice there.

Yes, we enjoyed a lot this restaurant in Rabat. We tasted a wide variety of sushi and sashimi , and a good white wine. The service was very fast , and the feeling of the location was good : quite and relaxing. We hope to return again

The sushi were good and well prepared. Every thing is made in front of you. The room is nice, staff is helpful. This is really the place to have sushi.

While reading the review, I imagined something I did not find. Food is great. If you like japon you will like this restaurant. Waiter and service is poor (not freindly) hence the average rating. If you do not mind about this, then go you will not regret it

Nice location, beautiful setting but when I saw the chef cutting fish with his ring on, I was shocked! Hello bacteria! Oh and the rolls didn't taste great. Tempura was poor. Didn't get why the place was that crowded..

Finding the Matsuri based on the map information on tripadvisor didn't work. The restaurant is an entirely different part of town (Ave Mohammed VI, not V) - by taxi it's about 10 minutes from Rabat Ville train station/Medina area (and the area on where the Tripadvisor maps puts the restaurant). Food was very good. Had sushi fro the conveyor belt,... More

I've been to sushi places in Casablanca and Agadir this place by far has surprised my expectations. They have many different and unique rolls. I recommend it.

I love this restaurant, i can't count the number of times i've been to it in the past 10 years! They still serve some of the best sushi in the world. I like their inventive sushi that you can't get anywhere else. Their Yaku Guy cheese is one of the best but their "teriyaki's" are far from being my favourite,... More

I visited Rabat (from Los Angeles) in April '09 and have to say it was great to find a GOOD sushi place in Rabat. Everything was fresh and the servers were very attentive. Nice variety of sushi, rolls and bowls on the menu. Would definitely go back!

Great fun to have Japanese food in Morocco! Very nice interior. We had kaitenzushi, which was ok. There seemed to be a separate area for other dining, as well. There were two Moroccan chefs preparing special orders, but I only received puzzled looks when asking for inarizushi. Fish was fresh, menu quite inventive, saké, they had home delivery etc. Expensive... More
