Good service, fair value, great harira

Ate here one evening so can't speak for the daytime views which must be spectacular. Freezing cold although they put me under what seemed to be the only patio-type heater they had. The harira was outstanding, the chicken tagine less so and the fresh orange with cinnamon tasted as if it had been on... read more

I love this place. Can be a bit hard to find if you aren't used to it, but lovely. A great setting, lovely food and friendly staff - a lovely rooftop terrace view in the evenings - I just get drawn back - their Harira soup is to die for

I had a slow roasted lamb with prunes and apricots, my partner had the couscous royal, and we enjoyed our meal with a bottle of the local Meknes wine. This was easily one of the best meals we had in our weeklong stay in Casablanca-Fes-Meknes areas. The place itself has a very unassuming front, but as you climb up the... More

This restaurant was amazingly beautiful! We decided to sit on the terrace and got a great view of the city. The food was reasonably priced for the quality of food. I would recommend getting a bottle of wine with your meal. Service was great, that were very helpful! It's hard to find but find some locals and they will help... More

As I worked in the region many years ago we came to Morocco to please our taste buds - this place is superb and even exceeded our high expectations. Great authentic food with good views and professional service. We went back the next day and enjoyed food and atmosphere again. Superb!

Lonely Planet 's guide to Morocco was brilliantly helpful and accurate , with this one glaring exception. We could have missed this gem of an experience ,given the underwhelming review of its menu , but a higher rated Meknes restaurant let us down . If you want the best of Moroccan food, wine and service , romantic views of Meknes,... More

Very large and decorative Moroccan restaurant with all the traditional Moroccan dishes including the regional pastilla with chicken which is a bit strange to have as a starter since it is a sweet dish. We visited in December, the restaurant was cold and there was insufficient heating provided. I didn't feel like Moroccan food so I ordered a steak which... More

This place is very well located (take the stairs next to the pizza place called Gourmet, and keep climbing). It is very classy and very clean. The staff were very nice. We had the Harissa soup and the vegetable soup. Since the soup comes in a huge pot that serves 4 (there were only two of us), I would recommend... More

Our group stopped there during our tour of the Medina in Meknes. This was by far the best meal we had while in Morocco. Several plates of meat, fish and vegetable, all well presented and very tasty. And as a bonus they serve beer and wine, which is unusual in Morocco. I don't know how it would be for individual... More

There aren't a huge amount of places that we wanted to eat in in Meknes, so we ended up eating at Collier de la Colombe twice, once for lunch and once for dinner. We were the only people in the restaurant for dinner, which was a shame. Good food and good service, would recommend if you're in Meknes.
