Lamb Tajine w/Prunes is Just Perfect!

At first we thought the restaurant may be too touristic, since it's on the most famous Jemaa el Fna (the main square of Marrakesh). Having just arrived in Marrakech that evening we went into this restaurant as it was one of the first we saw by the main square where we could get wine with our meal. Sat upstairs at a window seat overlooking the square. The decoration is nice with tiled floor and walls and lit by coloured lanterns. We had Tagine, one... More

The food was very good, as was the service. It was really buzzing and the decor and live music created a great atmosphere. The menu is not very extensive but there is enough to choose from and what we chose was very well done. Good value too..

I reserved in advance for a group of 13 and asked for a table with a view of Jemaa el Fna. The staff at Le Marrakchi was very accommodating. Atmosphere great, nice food. Service a bit slow at times, but the restaurant was indeed very full - our waiter was doing his best. Live traditional Moroccan music (not too loud)... More

A must stop, high up above the square the decor is just wonderful the service impeccable and authentic food. We had the chicken pastille which was lovely. This restaurant is exactly what you think of when you want Marrakech splendour.

We ate here on our last night in Marrakch and pre booked what we considered to be the best table in the house - top floor, corner window, looking right out on the Square! We'd heard mixed experiences and very nearly cancelled, but decided we'd try it out for ourselves and are glad we did... We order the taster menu... More

This was the first restaurant we went to after arriving in Marrakech. It was recommended by our road. After eating several other places we realized the price point was a bit high (about 70 euro for 2 adults and 2 children- 3 dishes, a couple beers and sodas) but it was well worth it. The food was one of the... More

We had drinks one evening and enjoyed the atmosphere so much we went back the next night for dinner....and what a good decision it turned out to be. Certainly not the cheapest option in the main square in Marrakesh but among the most fun. Sit back, enjoy the local music and gorge on the tasty, authentic food...the pigeon pastilles was... More

up above the noise and smells of the souk this was a nice place to eat. Food was good and the ambiance wasn't bad either. Main dishes around 140mad 14 euros. Wine and beer available here.
