After five nights and days of Moroccan cuisine (and loving it!)- the Tangia here wins by a mile! Generous portions (we also tried the lamb tagine with apricots) and really delicious. Excellent service- a view of the square and it's wonderful chaos and welcome air con!!

The atmosphere outside is transferred into this fabulously located restaurant by a group playing live music

This seems to be one of those restaurants recommended to European tourists by hotels- and like other reviewers this is how we got there. The of the square was good, the service was quick and professional- and the wine and beer list was longer than usual for a restaurant in Morocco- but it was quite pricey. I wouldn't recommend against... More

At face value, you may think it a tourist task with it being right on Place Jemaa El Fna. We were recommended this place by our hotel and have our a go. The Poulet au Miel et Amandes (Chicken Tajinewoth honey and almonds) was absolutely delicious! So much so we went back to the restaurant a second time. The price... More

In the beginning of July, the whole family (9 adults and 4 children) had a great dinner in that restaurant, on the second floor. We were given tables next to the window and had a great view on Jemaa el Fna; Good food, good service, wine not too expensive. We left before the belly dancers started (not intentionally, but because... More

We went here on my first night in Marrakech. My initial thoughts were "tourist trap". It does have a nice view of the Jemaa el efna and its nice inside. The staff are friendly and helpful. However the food is not amazing and you pay 3 times the price for standard Morrocan food. A plus is the bellydancing show.

Visited here few days ago in the evening. Chose for the location and the menu appealed to us. The decor was lovely lots of candles lit very romantic. Fantastic views over the market square! Looking down on the hustle and bustle in comfort! The food was tasty we had mixed kebabs and rice followed by honey and nut pancakes. The... More

We had a great meal here, loved watching the busy square below and the sun setting around us. The food was fabulous... although the portions are large so skip a starter if you don't want to fight the main... although my husband would disagree. Service and atmosphere also lovely.
