Good Moroccan food

Good traditional Moroccan food but just way too much of it. The meal is pre-fixed and even though we enjoyed what we had it was just way too much and they wouldn't let you pack any of it go. Having said that the view from the rooftop is amazing so go at sunset to enjoy a drink but come very... read more

Hidden gem of Marrakech. Literally hidden cause its almost impossible to find it in Medina. Only true Marakshi can find it. Food, service, decor...everything has max wow effect.

Dinner last night at Dar Yacout. A stunningly lovely setting and very good food. There is no menu but all the food was beautifully cooked. Traditional fare of very high quality. The restaurant is hidden away in the medina. Behind a big black door lies a beautifully restored riad, lit with lanterns and candles. Drinks on the picturesque terrace looking... More

Dar Yarcout is an curated experience, which we almost skipped thinking we had a couple Moroccan dining experiences but so glad we didn't. You arrive and are escorted to the room of this Raid for a view. Then to a sitting room for a drink and live gnawa music. And then to your table on the main level. Dinner is... More

The décor here was beautiful. We had the wonderful salads to start followed by chicken and dessert, etc. so wonderful and very delicious. It is a long night so go hungry and be prepared to sit and eat for a great experience. There were wonderful singers there on the floor playing guitar and singing. We took a horse and carriage... This is probably one of the most lovely and romantic restaurants I have ever been to. Food was a fantastic surprise and plentiful. The wine was the best I had in Marrakesh and the service was incredible. This is a little hidden gem, fantastic Roof bar and amazing restaurant. Recommend to anyone visiting Marrakesh. Not suited for children though.

We booked dinner here one evening after reading reviews. We were not disappointed. Arrived early to enjoy drinks on the rooftop watching the sunset and listening to live moroccan music. Afterwards we were lead downstairs to tables covered in rose petals and candles and seated poolside. The restaurant was difficult to find without any good signage but some locals lead... More

It was ok disappointed with the food too much of nothing really. Excellent setting for a meal but personally felt the food could have been more attractive

Don't rush here for the food, but the whole experience of the place is great. From starting on the rooftop terrace for a drink with traditional musical entertainment, to the lovely restaurant setting and the theatre of the food service it's a great night. One of the best parts of the night was the music - just keep your expectations... More
