Open since August 2004, Narwama has become an address not too be missed, where your dinner experience will be turned into a fairy tale. Narwama literally means "Fire & Water", the fusion with arts and culture, where amazing experiences and magic evenings are set in a palace, classified world heritage by the UNESCO. Unique Thai restaurant in Marrakesh, the 2 Thai chefs elaborates an authentic cuisine with ingredients that are directly imported from Bangkok. Narwama also offers an array of refined and subtle Moroccan specialties. The fusion is daring but we have to admit it the result is unbelievable. More than what is already said, the lounge bar atmosphere is intoxicating, joined by fusion music and delicious house cocktails. Daily entertainments and art performances from artists around the world, Narwama will take you to Wonderland!

Too expensive for what you get

A great place worth to see. But for 300 dirham per person you only get a regular curry plus a non alcoholic drink. The food is good but not amazing, I even found that that the rice was of cheap quality. Far too expensive, worse than Paris where I live :) just get there to have a drink and enjoy... read more

Lovely food in a great looking restaurant. Serving both Moroccan and Thai food, the variety is good. Expensive for Marrakech, but really just British prices. The restaurant is large, so was lacking in atmosphere when we visited (on a Monday) but expect it would be great when busier.

Narwama must be one of the most beautiful restaurant I have been. Set in an old riad classified world heritage, lit by candles and soft light, stand a beautiful fire/water foutain! I can understand why so many people write its their favorite romantic restaurant. The thai food was excellent and nicely decorated, staff was friendly and attentive. A real gem... More

After several nights of traditional Moroccan food, we wanted something a little different and this had been recommended by friends. This is a hidden gem that really impressed us. The menu was extensive and interesting, and the food we ordered was absolutely delicious. Service was outstanding, and the music was modern and not too loud. The atmosphere here is wonderful,... This hidden gem in the center of Marrakech is the most increadible place I've visited with beautiful decor, cosy interior and listed on UNESCO heritage. The food was delicious especially the pad thai and chocolate fondant! A must to visit!

The set of the place is marvellous, the patio is huge and right in the middle you find a metal fire/water fountain, my food was okay, my partners was much better, but the service is amazing

Visited here again this month and had abeautful meal as usual, very fresh tasting and extremeley well balanced spice-wise. Gorgously presented in beautiful surroundings. Not cheal but worth it for a special treat. Try the mixed Thai platter to share to start, exquisite flavours. Make sure and visit the Ladies facilities, worth it just for that! Just plain gorgeous! My boyfriend and I visited this restaurant in early December 2014. It was an amazing night out. The was a very romantic atmosphere with loats of candles and good music. The food was excellent and prices quite reasonable. Restaurant`s decoration is absolutely stunning. You will have an impression that you are somewhere in an exotic palace. The service was good... This is our third visit to Narwama and the food was great as usual. Really fresh tasting Thai food and excellent service. The only down side of a great night out with friends was the emptiness of the place. We have never seen more than one other table used in all three visits. This is a shame as the food... More
