Met at our riad by a white-robed chap who guided us the 10 min walk (we probably wouldn't have ventured out there otherwise - if you book ,they'll send someone for you). Pre-dinner nice Moroccan wine on lovely roof terrace, and then a delightful meal in a really beautiful restaurant . Highly recommended.

Recommended by our Riad, this restaurant turned out to be pretty average. Great building, lovely roof terrace and right in the heart of the Medina. We were met from where our car dropped us off and escorted to the restaurant, which we would have never found otherwise. Had a drink on the roof terrace, which was fine but seemed expensive.... This is probably a restaurant that you've been advised to go to by your local Riad or Hotel. If so, ask for an alternative! In simple terms, the food and service quality is good, however everything else (location, atmosphere, entertainment, etc) is extremely lacking. I attended with 2 friends and received a food bill for 1,500 Dirham (without drinks or... More

We were recommended this restaurant so we went along - the approach was candle lit and very atmospheric. The interior is very stylish and there is a great roof terrace where we were taken for aperitifs. Thankfully I'd checked out the previous reviews and got a tip - on the roof the menu only has wine per glass at 45... More

Luckily this gem was 2 minutes away from our riad. The restaurant itself is completely beautiful and the food was delicious. Pricey for Marrakech but well worth it. We had some great cocktails up on the roof terrace - highly recommend.

Very nice roof terrace, big portions, good food, but overpriced, menu is fixed for minimum 3 courses, I hardly could finish 2. The cheapest bottle of wine 30 euros, eventually they included into the bill drinks we never ordered, but removed them when we noticed the mistake.

Unless someone shows you where it is, it's very difficult to find but when you do it's worth it. Yes it's for the tourists but it's not a tourist trap. You won't be served awful food. Be prepared to be fed here. You will receive African sized portions. If a couple, don't be afraid to say you want to share... More

Right in the middle of the restaurant is a square pool covered in crimson rose petals and tea lights, and so begins the magical meal at Dar Zellig. Google maps did their best in getting us there, but we needed help down the final alleyway twists and turns. When we came to an alley lined with carpets and lanterns on... More

This place is made 100% for tourists. That's not necessarily a bad thing, but it shows and made the experience less enjoyable than it could have been for me. For the good: the food is not extraordinary but is fairly good, the staff is professional and welcoming, and the place is very beautiful. The not-so-good: as the place caters exclusively... More
