Nicely styled restaurant about 10 minutes from the main square. We had drinks on the roof terrace. It took 25 minutes for the drinks to arrive after placing the order 3 times. The first round of drinks were wrong and we had to send them back. Traditional music is played in the bar, which is a nice touch. We assumed... more

We had one of the weaker meals of our trip to Morocco in this restaurant with beautiful lanterns, rose petals and attractive decor. Neither our couscous nor our overcooked, dried out chicken tagine had much flavor. The poor quality of the food seemed to be unrelated to the high price. The yawning musicians played with a monotonous beat, and when... more

We were recommended this restaurant for our first night in Marrakech by our Riad manager who made the booking for us. The restaurant is Moroccan chic and beautifully decorated. The traditional Morrocan band that played in the bar downstairs created an excellent atmosphere. The pre-dinner drinks were expensive and we were convinced that the coctails contained little or no alcohol... more

We were recommend this restaurant by our Riad. Great food, we had the full local salad (in 12 little pots), beef on skewers and a few other dishes. All was well prepared and very tasty ! the place was a little hot, but you had great music, belly dancing and it was packed ... you need to book. more

We had read good things about this restaurant, so we made it our first lunch stop when we arrived in Marrakech. We went up to the roof terrace, and the only open seats were in full sun, so we asked if the table could be moved into a shady spot. The server reluctantly agreed, with a lot of attitude, and... more

We ate here based on the trip advisor reviews but against the advice of our riad manager. Overall we really enjoyed our evening here. We got there early and had a drink in the downstairs bar. My wife drinks Bacardi and Coke and there was probably more Barcardi than Coke in the glass! The syle of the bar is dark... more

We chose this restaurant because of the reviews and on arrival, the first impressions were very favourable. The bar/reception was on the ground floor. This was very atmospheric and welcoming. We ordered cocktails which I'm not convinced had any alcohol in them. The retaurant was upstairs and set out around a gallery overlooking the bar/reception below. The food was very... more

We were recommended this place by a friend that had visited Marrakech a few weeks before us. It was probably the best recommendation we got! The food was delicious (we ordered tagines and the lamb!!), the decor was charming and the belly dancing show added a touch of fun to the evening. As it was not yet summer, the terrace... more

We went to Le Tanjia with 7 people total in our party. It turned out to be great atmosphere because it was the birthday of one of the girl's in our group, and several waiters came by to sing "happy birthday" to her. Also, she got pulled up during the belly-dancing routine, which was fun for her and those of... more
