Yeh,it's expensive. You're drinking alcohol in a muslim country get over it.Also the views are knockout. Tarik and his team have done a brilliant job in the last 12 months. You will always get a warm welcome here and they can't do enough for you.

My wife and I saw the roof bar from the street while on the open top bus tour, this is right across the street from stop 1. We didn't want anything too big but fancied a drink so made our way up. It was pretty quiet with only 2 other tables occupied, we were recommended to have some tapas so... More

... and way too expensive. The Tajine was with more bones than meat and more a children plate. The small bottle of beer 70 DH! A place to go, only, if you want to feel down on top of the city. All thumbs down.

Had lunch here, the food and drinks were nice. However, terrible atmosphere and the waiter tried to short change us. When we questioned it, he gave us some more change, but not the correct amount. We had to ask twice to get the right change. Very dishonest and wouldn't have expected this at a renaissance. For this reason, if a... More

A 6th floor restaurant with panoramic views over the new and old city to the Atlas mountains (on a clear night). Good fresh food, great tastes and textures. Good service, formal but relaxed enough to allow you to enjoy your experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the 'La Renaissance' experience. Lunch at the Brasserie on the 6th floor terrace was 150 dirhams/£12.50 per head, for all you could eat. We managed to constrain ourselves and not over indulge. The food was well presented and palatable, a far cry from one establishment in Place Jemaa el-Fna, which served up 'lamb chops', which comprised bone... More

My friend and I ate at the Brasserie after having a cocktail on their roof terrace & seeing that the restaurant was empty. The food (chicken) was very disappointing, dry and bland. Also the service was so lax it was as if they weren't fussed if you were there or not. We were given some bread, so asked for butter... More
