Outside the walls of old Marrakech is a modern city with high end hotels offering a choice of restaurants and bars. Namazake is on the roof of the Pearl Hotel with amazing views of the old city and its mosques and roof tops. Namazake offers a choice of a range of sushi, tempura and teppanyaki with a good cocktail and... More

Namazake is easily overlooked. I spotted it on a tour through Marrakech and asked my guide what the building was. He said it was the location of the Louis Vuitton Store. Later that evening, while we were leaving the square we could here music coming from the vicinity we heard music coming from the area and decided to visit the... More

We spent about 6 hours in Namazake, which is on the rooftop of the Pearl Hotel (previously the Delano Marrakech). The food is Japanese Sushi, Sake and Sashimi. And it's wonderful. The staff are very attentive too, and the restaurant is well managed. It was cold though. Outside was raining, so this played a part as the restaurant walls are... More

Went on Valentines night with my wife. The views are amazing on old medina MArrakech. The setting is beautiful and romantic. We ordered similar dishes as we have similar tastes to food. Didn't try the sushi though, but the teryaki beef and vegetables fried rice was amazing. Also the soups. Be prepared for old school music, that is very loud.... More

We had an excellent mix of tempura, sushi, and sashimis, very fresh fish. Great wine selection. The location, on rooftop of the Pearl hotel, provides clients with a great view over the walls of the medina. A glass elevator from outside shoots straight to restaurant. The only disturbance was the noisy a/c split units that were beeping while on stand... More

If you are in Marrakesh and you simply have to have some sushi, this is a good bet (but I have better options at home). It has an excellent view of the Medina wall and the Koutoubia minaret.

Sitting on the rooftop with a breathtaking view was very romantic. The service was excellent. Every course was incredible. It was one of the best meals we have ever had.

Although it was freezing cold, the local heaters made us enjoy the great food and the wonderful view. With great white Moroccan wine, we enjoyed great sushi, and other Japanese delicacies. Pricey but you are paying for quality tasty food, great wine and the service

This is a rooftop restaurant overlooking the old city walls. Food is Japanese with a local twist in some of the spicing. Service is good, but occasionally a little too intrusive.
