tasty food good service

Was in the spices square when one of the guys recommended here for something to eat. It was getting late so decided why not. Other than the wrought iron staircase it was a delight. We were the last to leave apart from the locals watching the football. I had a very tasty lamb tagine and hubby had... read more

Wandering the souk on our first day in Marrakesh we were eyeing up having some lunch/snack when some people who had just come down from the terrace said that there was a table free. We went up and had a look and found the table there in the sun which was just perfect. We had a look at the menu... More

Food was served cold after we waited for ages ... we were just about to walk out when our food "miraculously" appeared. All we wanted was soup ... how hard is that to dish up?

Found this place by accident and so happy we did! Excellent Daily menu at a great price of 65DH (Salad, daily tangine(ours was keftka) and mint tea, included was fantastic fresh bread). The owner Chez Maazouz was friendly and accommodating. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed a nice breeze and quiet time from the buzz of the markets. We... More

Very nice Restaurant! Not so many tourists trying to shot some pictures from the terrace like in the restaurants at the djema el fna! Food was very affordable and tasty. The vegetarian and the kefta tajine were very good!

We stumbled upon Chez Maazouz while shopping in the souks. It is located on the corner of the Rahba Kedima square with the spice markets. Ready for lunch, we climbed the stairs (be aware that it is a somewhat tricky, circular staircase) and found ourselves on a small but pleasant rooftop. The chicken sandwich with fries was a big hit.... More

Having spent an hour or two in mid afternoon walking through the souks we found ourselves in the spice square, under the red hot mid afternoon sun. Time for some shade and a bit to eat. Thankfully on the square was this lovely little traditional Moroccan restaurant with a great roof top area in the shade and offering the sprayed... More

We have just been here for a light evening meal, there were lots of locals inside so we thought we'd give it a go. Had a sandwich and a Moroccan meat tajine and both were lovely, cost less than 100dh total including bread, olives and mint tea. The owner/ server was very friendly and not at all pushy, food is...
