Great for breakfast.

We visited Paul for breakfast several times on a recent trip to Marrakech. On each occasion the service was prompt and smiling and the food set us up in excellent fashion ready to tackle the souks. For 49 dirhams, the standard breakfast came with fresh fruit juice, coffee, delicious pastries and a... read more

Lousy service - useless in fact and very little choice - This bares no resemblance to the Patisserie Paul that exists in Europe - terrible pastries and hardly any choice - it opened with such high expectation and was much more in keeping with its name sake in Europe and then about 9 months ago it changed drastically - won't... What happened to Paul in Marrakesh? We went at 3pm for a late lunch and the displays were completely empty, unlike the chock-a-block full displays in London. Took a while to find a waiter to give us menus, and then to take the order. When we tried to order, found out that the only things available on the extensive menu... More

I went to have a coffee and dessert today, only to see all the display windows empty (3.30 pm) , a horrible smell throughout the cafe and when I asked staff why there were no items in the display, they said they hoped that perhaps by Monday there would be a delivery! These desserts come from Casablanca . . .2.5... More

Regardless of whether it is a blatant copy of Pauls in London or not - this place does a great coffee and a great crépe!!! Service was immediate, very friendly, prices in line with Tourism.

We went to Paul because it had been recommended by some friends, but I was rather disappointed with it, all-in-all. The menu is somewhat limited to begin with, and when we tried to order the waiter told us that most of the dishes listed were not available. I don't know why he didn't explain that at the beginning when he... More

We went to Gueliz after seeing reviews for two restaurants on TA, the first Cafe Mado and the other L'annexe. Unfortunately neither was open so after a few minutes walk we came across Paul. From the outside it looked like a nice a peaceful setting however the staff spoke little or no English and my French is quite poor. We... More

We stopped after a long walk from the gardens which are up ths road. The menu of the day was good value, for 3 courses. Excellent coffee and dessert, choc mousse cake was great. No wine but that is not a problem. They don't take credit card which is a, shame given the higher prices but there is an atm... More

An oasis in a desert of mediocrity. Lovely food, including fillet steak and chips! Fabulous display of bread and cakes. Only drawback was they have no alcohol license, despite there being beer and wine on the menu. We had one evening meal there, but were dissappointed on the drinks front. A must visit place for breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea!!

I have been here a couple of times for breakfast and lunch and it always leaves a bit to be desired. The service is sometimes excellent but sometimes not. The food is overpriced for Morocco and also has inconsistent quality. The one sure thing is the bread is always excellent. The olive breadstick is delicious!
