Apparently, the restaurant is in new hands. Its a nice building. Service was a wobbly in a charming way but the food was very good without being flashy. The bill was remarkably cheap for the overall experience.

Nice surrounds, disappointed with meal. No half bottles of wine, although listed on menu, wine very expensive by the glass.

Hello and thank you for your remarks, and especially about the surrounds. Sorry if you were disappointed but you could have expressed it when you were here, just to understand exactly why. Concerning the wine card, it is clearly indicated "Upon availability" since it's not that easy. The suppliers don't always have what we need. As for the price of... More

First dinner in Marrakech (and in Morocco) in this cozy little restaurant (booking recommended). Warm welcome by the staff, who has been very attentive throughout our exprience. Olive and aubergine pate', both very delicate on a genuine bread, followed swiftly our orders, courtesy of the house. Starter was a Moroccan veggie selection, which provided a thorough glimpse of what this... More

Hidden down a small back lane, nearby Riad Malika, we enjoyed an excellent main course of squid ink black tagliatelle, and our starters overall were good too, but the eating area was a little cold (it was late December), which meant we didn't stay for dessert. Waiters were friendly. Two course meal for 4 plus drinks cost around 900 dirham.

Not very comfy seating and the menu sounded OK but not very well executed, could cook better myself. Staff pleasant enough but it lacked warmth and comfort and sometimes if you have that the food seems better

Found Le Comptoir at the end of the alley near to our riad (Ambre et Epices) and what a find! Food is excellent and service just right. Great range of choices from trad Maroccon to French and Italian. The Moroccon food has a twist which sets it aside from standard Marrakesh restraurants, although keeping to tradional ingredients and methods. You... More

Unfortunately, when we went (close to our riad) they had not kept their red wine in a place that would maintain a cool enough temperature to drink it in 100+ degree weather. The food is good and the setting is lovely, but a bit overpriced as are a lot of things in Morocco. However the restaurant's service is excellent.

The service (Abdul served us) was great - polite and attentive without ever being intrusive. The restaurant is peaceful and very tastefully decorated. The food is good and represents great value for money.
