Best we had in Marrakech

Best we had in Marakech, we turned up and the place was a bit overrun and was warned we'd have to wait 40 minutes. We had a lovely bottle of Moroccan wine on the waiters recommendation and some bread with aubergine to tide us over. After 40 minutes we can safely say it was well worth the wait. All... read more

This is a beautiful, tastefully decorated restaurant in the heart of the old Medina. Each room has a theme and they are all beautiful. I also went during the week in March so it wasn't too busy, but this was good as I had fast, efficient service. This time, in July, it was a bit more busy, but that didn't... More

A really nice restaurant with good and friendly service. Our duck tajine was delcious, the salad very nice too. I just felt the meals lacked the generosity of Moroccan meals we have seen so far.

Near the edge of the souk - classy food, nice wine, peaceful terrace with chilled staff and music. Quiet when we went as off season but if you looking for a stylish informal dinner this well worth it and good value.

Attention to detail... fine dining approach to Moroccan specialities. Tasty Moroccan salad starters with lovely hessian bag presentation for bread. Prawn and avocado starter beautifully presented and with fabulous taste. Beer was served a little warm for the 39 degree heat, but local Rose wine a perfect accompaniment. Tangia specialty lamb with saffron and Chicken Roll with dried fruit, were... More

Hidden gem, tucked away down a little side road behind henna cafe. The service was great and the food delicious. We had squid ink tagliatelle with seafood (mussels, squid and prawns) and rib steak, both of which were excellent. We then had drinks on the Terrace afterwards. Reasonably priced - 600 dirhams (£42) for a bottle of wine, 4 beers... More

I am writing this just after returning from a week in Marrakech. This wonderful restaurant was just around the corner from our riad, which we came across when passing by. We just turned up one evening and was immediately greeted by a very welcoming and friendly gentleman. There was a range of things to choose from including pasta dishes as... More

We visited this restaurant on the recommendation of our Riad who booked us a table, and as it was only about two minutes walk from where we were staying we thought it would be well worth a try. The interior of the restaurant is divided into small dining areas, and the decoration and lighting add to the intimate atmosphere. Although... More

Very difficult to find, however, this restaurant was so good we followed up our first visit with a second on our last night in Marrakech. Sat on the terrace the first night which at first concerned me after reading reviews saying we would be forgotten about. Thankfully this was far from the case. Our server was attentive and friendly. I... More

After return from a desert trip in our riad we were advised to have a dinner in this restaurant. Everything was well above our expectations - food, wine, service, environment. And good value for money to finish happily long exhausting day.
