We stayed at Riad Papillon and the owners set up the Henna Cafe so we were very happy to support it. I had one foot and leg hannad and the henna lady was amazingly fast and friendly. I love it. She gave me a sock to protect the sheets. Similar price or cheaper than the aggressive ladies at the Big... More

A real community facility supporting local youth with education, support, etc. They also run a soup kitchen.

This cafe is a must do on your list when visiting this city. I've just returned from a 5 day break with my daughter and only wish we had found this earlier. We only found it by chance on our way back from visiting the Majorelle Gardens. It's a charming little cafe where you can sit on the tiny roof... More

We had read the reviews and made this a must do on our visit to Marrakech. We decided to visit for lunch on a roasting hot day and get some henna done. We found it quite easily- we headed up Rue Fatima Zahra, passed Maison Arabe and turned right at Bab Doukkala Mosque. We then used the free Trip Advisor... More

Head up the tight little stairs and up onto the roof terrace which is decorated in a simple and rustic fashion. There are only three tables on the terrace which is shared with the kitchen - it's simple, no thrills appearance only adds to the charm. After a sweltering first day trying to find our way around, the genuinely friendly... More

This cafe is a charity cafe and we are told that all the profits go to education and other causes. In fact we witnessed an English class going on whilst we were there. The service was a little slow but the food was delicious and it was great to try a traditional berber tea rather than just being offerred fizzy... More

Little roof terrace is a right sun-trap. Loads of different teas on the menu and the food looked really nice. They support local women who come into the cafe to do the henna tattoos so its all in a good cause. It was busy on the day we went. I didn't actually have a tattoo but watched the lady tattooing...
