This was our Riad as well as the place where ate on our last night in Marrakech, and what a treat it was! Imagine walking into your grandmother's house, and the soul food that she would cook you, and you'll come close to describing the flavour of the food at Dar Najat. The tagines are spectacular and packed with the... More

We booked a couple of weeks before travelling and on arrival checked the location, fairly easy to find but if just going in the evening maybe better to be met in the square, just to be sure! A lovely welcome and drinks on the roof top terrace before an authentic an delicious meal, we opted for the lamb tangine, firstly... More

Only 4 or 5 tables are available on the cosy rooftop. Tagine was really nice and the eggplant starter really good! ( and i dont usually like eggplants). 250dh excl wine. Not cheap but quite worth it.

We went here after reading other reviews and it didn't disappoint! We were shown to our own private room just off the terrace and then we were served with a simply stunning meal! As it was cold ( we had 2 days of rain!) we were given a tasty courgette soup to start then the largest tangine filled with fluffy... More

Wow, this place gets crazy good reviews so my expectations were sky-high. Sadly, I don't think it really measured up. We stayed at the riad so were super excited about the reputation the kitchen had and made reservations in advance before we even arrived in Marrakech. Turns out we really didn't need it for the night we dined. It was... More

Hi and thanks for your post. Sorry that the chicken tagine was dry..! We are very concerned about the food quality and atmosphere and do our really best to provide the best of the Morocco's gastronomy. Regarding the rate..a full three courses dinner is charged 23 euro/person and doens't seem to be pricey at all for what you get Dear... More

Roof terrace restaurant over a Riad. Traditional tagines but much better than anywhere else we ate! Nice wine and very reasonable prices. Down a dark alley but they escorted us back to the lit streets and had offered to meet us in the market square (Place Jemaa El Fna). Great experience, good ambience and pleasant music!

Really sad to see a few bad reviews after we had such a wonderful evening at Dar Najat. We had no problems booking our table, I emailed a few days in advance and got a very quick and helpful reply... including a map which was very useful! When we arrived we were welcomed into the riad and shown up to... More

We stayed at the Riad Dar Najat but was only able to get a table there once as they get very booked up as it is so popular - you need to try and book a little in advance to avoid disappointment. The food was OUTSTANDING and very well priced. We had a selection of starters/salads, two tagines and a... More

We are the young (teenage children) family of Australians currently living in Turin mentioned in PSDuvall's review and we do not concur. We stayed at the Riad for 6 nights in total and had dinner there on our first night. The food was very good value, and the atmosphere was great. I understand the Duvall's had a disappointing experience, but... More

Quite hard to find but there are signs if you look. Nice friendly staff who took us on a tour of the Riad and good front of house. Starters were fantastic, best we had in Morroco; tagine was average and fruit salad was well a fruit salad. Service was very friendly but a little slow. We had none of the... More
