This restaurant/ bar is a true find. Located just meters off Djema el Fna square it has an ambience and elegance not previously found on the square. Having just opened in December 2011 the service is superb and vibrant. Le Salama is spread over 3 levels allowing to cater for over 200 guests and is crowned with a panoramic terrace overlooking the Atlas mountains and a 360 degree view of the medina. The menu offers modern Moroccan cuisine including delights such as Monkfish Tagine or Lamb Shank with caramelized tomatoes and poached pear. Mouthwatering! This is the perfect place for a tea break, sipping a cocktail or a good local Moroccan wine or even having a meal after shopping in the souk.

Great views, good food, average cocktails.

The view from the top floor bar was amazing but unfortunately the drinks were a bit weak. We sent them back because we didn't think there was any alcohol in them. The food was great though.

This was one of the best meals of our stay, traditional Moroccan food, served by attentive staff. The bar upstairs has a dj, belly dancers and happy hour on cocktails and beers each night

Great location, just off Jamaal El Fna, Le Salama is a three storey with a variety of Moroccan food. Staff were really attentive and the decor and ambience inside is wonderful. Food is good, if a little overpriced, but worth it if you want to treat yourself. Real selling point is the chilled top floor bar that has a variety... More

We came here on two occasions during our short stay in Marrakech, the second time was on our last night. The service started disappointingly slow, waiting for our first round of 'two for one' cocktails and being told the shisha pipes were finished for the night. When the drinks came, we were told the 30min delay was caused by our... More

Nice intimate roof top bar which is covered, excellent restaurant below over 2 floors. Service excellent, food good standard and plenty of it, good wine. Belly dancers added authentic entertainment. Would recommend for people looking for slightly higher end place to eat, food and wine for 2 came to 1100 Dirums

Great bar just off main square. The Happy Hour (from 4.30pm to 1am!!) in the sky bar is good entertainment. Selection of cocktails, beers and spirits, good value for money. Belly dancers provide traditional entertainment. We went here two nights and enjoyed ourselves, worth a visit.

Best place to have a meal and drink. The service is incredible and super inviting. I sat upstairs and had a great view of Marrakesh.

What a great find..it doesnt look very exciting from the outside, but dont be put off! We spent a couple of evenings of our honeymoon on the top floor having a glass of wine and just enjoying the music and great atmosphere. Around 10pm the belly dancers arrive too. Happy hour seems to be on all evening. Drinks are 2... More

We visited here during the time they had the terrible rain and floods in Morocco. Despite the amount of rain actually coming in to the restuarant they carried on and kept the flood waters at bay. This three story place looks nothing from the outside but opens up into a tar dis. The third floor has wonderful views and is... More

Having found it tricky to get a glass of wine elsewhere we fell upon this lovely roof top bar ... Nice staff, good drinks and cocktails and cool music. We were happy! Tried the restaurant too on the last night , which was good but beware of large portions! We could have shared what we had and still had plenty.
