This small cafe is located about 5 minutes waking from Jamaa el fna and offers a menu with hsalthy and organic, original dishes. It is a 'hip' cafe in a somewhat hidden location on a side street. I got the large orange, carrot and ginger infusion drink for 20dh.

We came here for the tagine and nothing else. Recommended from a friend we were not disappointed. Situated in a courtyard it looks great at night with an orange tree as its centre piece. They don't try and fancy things up, it's just simple, traditional food. The setting may make it look posh and pretentious which can disappoint those that... More

We read about this restaurant in the Rough Guide and it sounded interesting. We had to wait 45 mins for the starter which was a run of the mill salad. Halfway through the salads the waiter arrived with the tagines and said 'make room on the table! We had a small table for 2 with starters, glasses, bread and water... More

This little riad was tucked away gem, and though were the only ones eating there the rooftop was a wonderful place away from the hustle of the streets. The menu is short and there are not many options but what we ordered was of a really high quality that we did not expect. The starter salads were bursting with flavour... More

This was the best meal I had in Marrakech from both of my trips to the city. The beef and fig tagine was lovely. The meat absolutely fell off the bone. My sister got the lamb and prune tagine, which was also excellent. The restaurant is open air, so it was a bit cold in December, but worth braving the... More

Courteous and helpful service. The menu is quite limited but honest and rustic at a very good price. We went a few times and we're not disappointed. It's not high gastronomy but you would not expect that at this level and it was far better than much more expensive places we visited.

Very good find, look for the small flashing lights. Food was very good, homemade. It is a simple and easy family driven retaurant in and old rhiad. Atmosphere was very cozy. Servants were nice and polite, chicken with lemon and beef with figs was absolutely amazing.

This nice restaurant, located at only 5 minutes walking from Djema el-Fna, offers Moroccan food, like couscous and tajine, cooked very well for an honest price. It is one of the few restaurants where wine is available.

I'm also very surprised by negative reviews. Just been for dinner here and it was so good I had to review this same evening. The setting is gorgeous, in a quiet leafy courtyard just off the hustle and bustle of the souks, looked v nice in the candlelight. We both had tagines - lamb and beef - and both were... More
