We were slightly put off by the tout outside - but having eventually promised to eat there one evening, we finally did and ended up having dinner the last two days of our stay. This restaurant was only about half the price of the restaurants we ate at off the Jemma El Fnaa - and the food was just as... More

Nice morrocan food (pastilla was delicious), clean environment, central location. Not expensive, worth it. Good option to go after a visit to Jemma El-fnaa and the market. Not the best i've ever been to, but a pleasent option in Marrakech.

Though not a vegetarian, while in Morocco I began to long for fresh vegetables. Hence, the eggplant salad with accompanying cucumbers served here was a welcome choice.

An informal restaurant serving standard moroccan dishes. Very good value, especially the set menus. Ate here 4 times, never disappointed. Friendly staff who seem to want to help. Most set menus (3 courses) vary from 75dH to 100dH (extra 10-20dH at night). Final day, had "menu de jour"- 3 courses for 60dH (around £4.80). Not licensed, drinks also cheap but rather... More

We visited this restaurant twice because we found some good vegetarian choices - aubergine salad and vegetarian couscous were excellent for example. Service was excellent, quick and efficient. It was in a lovely position on the second floor of the building with interesting photographs on the walls. Look out for the large signs outside - it is also in Les... More

We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of the riad where we stayed, but unfortunately we were not impressed. The place takes too much advantage of the tourists and are not proud of their kitchen. The food was tasteless and boring and the service uncaring. You can get better food at the Djema el Fnaa.

Restaurant overlooks busy full-time street. Room dark (we visited in the evening) and lit by traditional Morrocan style lamps. The harira soup wasn't great but did its job; both our main courses - tagine and brochettes - were very good indeed: well cooked and succulent. The waiters tend to hurry things along in the interests of a quick turnaround but... More

As long as the restaurant is open there is someone outside drumming up business, they are harmless and actually very nice guys, if you say no politely they normally leave you alone. We stayed quite close to this restaurant so kinda felt obliged to eat here. Food was ok, but had better for cheaper elsewhere. The terrace view is very... More

Don't be intimidated by the barker who try to get you inside. It is not a tourist trap and you will be pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, very relaxing Moroccan music and great food. Nicely prepared, tasty and well presented.

I had the special - salad, rice and chicken. Not much chicken on the skewer but it was tasty. My friend had Tajini, which he really enjoyed. Abdul and Karim looked after us wonderfully and freely gave more "soup" to go on the tajini. I will go back next time I am there.
