Nice and friendly place with good atmosphere

Nice ambience with candlelight. Friendly people and good food. Maybe not the most exotic dishes, but good local food. Prices are good as well.

We went to Chez Brahim 1 (there is also a nr. 2 in the same road) and we had a yummy dinner, the place is lovely and pulverizing water showers refresh the room, so we could eat without melting ;)

Loved the harira and the grilled skewers as well as the caramel flan. Really liked the food and service at this place, also not expensive at all. There are 2 Chez Brahim's on the same road, this review is for Chez Brahim 2

We went here for lunch after being recommended it and we really enjoyed the food. We had a tagine and couscous and both were delicious. Staff were very friendly. Would definately recommend.

The owner of the Riad we stayed in recommended this restaurant and we were not disappointed! Chez Brahim 1. Ended up having dinner here twice, Tagines both times and went with the full meal (100 110 dirhams!). Both nights we were treated to music provided by 2 Berber men. Located right off the square, nice location. They also serve lunch... More

We were looking for a lunch opportunity in the neighbourhood of the central square and were convinced to enter this restaurant. We were really positively surprised: food was excellent: the three of us had dishes with chicken but all prepared in different ways and I must say it tasted excellent! Moreover dishes were really inexpensive for what you got. Roof... More

The receptionist at my hotel recommend me to eat here and he was right. This is a normal restaurant which local people visit. Live music and good food with down to earth prices. Probably if you want posh places this will not be your place, however if you are on a budget and want to immerse into beriberi cuisine please... More

The food was typical in terms of the breadth of Moroccan cuise; the prices were a good value: three people 370 MAD ($12.50). What was not typical was the drum and guitar music with some singing by two men in white with red fezes. The bread was fresh and warm. The pastilla was stuffed with chopped veg and nicely seasoned,... More

We ate one dinner at this restaurant during our stay, and although it was excellent value, it was in no way memorable. The soup is always reliable anywhere in Morocco and this was no exception - harira, which is the traditional soup for breaking the day's fast during Ramadan, very filling and delicious. Then a couple of chicken skewers and... More
